beginning with John Asselstine UE and wife Marie
LANGLOIS, continuing through
their son Peter Asselstine who mar 1809 Barbara
CARR. Their children are
listed as Peter, William, John, Daniel [the line that is continued],
Amarilla, Clisty and Sabrina. There well may be other William Asselstines
from the same time period, but this one would seem to be in the right place
at the right time. It would be a good idea to contact the Toronto Branch of
the United Empire Loyalists' Association, who published this book,
