Tom PORTER, a resident of Gore Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health
Centre, Little Current, on Sunday, September 2, 2001, at the age of
63 years. He was born in Sudbury,
son of the late Thomas Reginald and
Annie Margaret
{BUCHANAN}
PORTER.
Tommy had taught school from 1969-1979, in Gore Bay, Capreol and
lastly in West Bay at Manitoulin Secondary School. In his earlier years, he enjoyed figure
skating. Tom also enjoyed reading and arts and entertainment. He will
be sadly missed by his Friends and loving family.

Tom's request was that there was to be no visitation or funeral
service. Cremation will take place followed by burial of ashes.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2002.

Dorothy ARNIEL, a resident of Kingston, and formerly of Gore Bay, died at
Kingston on Monday, July 16, 2001 at the age of 74 years. She was born at
Ice Lake, daughter of the late Robert and Louise
{WRIGHT}
DEARING.
Dorothy had a number of hobbies and interests including sewing, going to
yard sales, volunteering at the nursing home and will be remembered for her
collection of tea cups. Dorothy's greatest love was for her family. She will
be sadly missed, but many happy times will be cherished.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Eugene
