MILLER, 81 years of Sudbury who
passed away Thursday morning, January 4th, 2001 at the Sudbury
Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. He was born in
Renfrew and married Dora
(PERRAS) in 1945 in Renfrew. Norm came to
Sudbury in 1953 from Renfrew. He was a miner at Frood Mine retiring
from INCO in 1970 with 28 years service. A Roman Catholic he enjoyed
hunting and horseracing. A keen follower of world affairs he was an
avid reader who enjoyed sharing his opinions with others. Beloved
husband of Dora

MORIN (husband Richard) of
Sudbury and Colleen
MILLER of Ottawa. Cherished “Gramps' of Jodie

grandchildren Amanda, Emily, Megan and Branden. Dear son of Bertram
and Sara MILLER predeceased. Dear brother of Johnny, Cecelia,
Garfield, Wilfred, Kay, Bertram, Steven, Eileen, and Frank all
predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral

January 6th, 2001 at 11: 30 am. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.

Survived by brothers Fred of Thessalon, Andy (wife Tilly), Alex (wife
Doreen) both of London, Nell
MAXWELL (husband Ted) of Barrie and Jim of
Sudbury. Abe was a lifelong resident of Blind River. He joined the
Rotal Canadian Air Force - Royal Air Force in 1941, serving in coastal
command in the Caribbean, Atlantic, Baltic and European areas. Abe started
business in Blind River in 1946, and established AJ Bus Lines in 1950.
Abe's love for his church, his family, Friends and fellow man, for his
community and staff are well known. He enjoyed the beauty of nature to its
fullest. Abe was always proud to mention the fact that the only reason his
company survived and thrived was because he was blessed with the greatest
staff a person could be blessed with. Abe served three terms as Deputy Mayor
and Councillor of Blind River and was a 55 Year member of Penewobikong Lodge
and Past Master. Abe was a 55 year member of Branch 189 of the Royal Canadian
Legion, as well as past President and member of the Executive. Abe served as
Past President of the Blind River Lions Club and Blind River Curling Club,
and as a Director of Algoma Family Services.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, June 30 from St. Saviours Anglican
Church,
Blind
