Gordon Duncan McALLISTER
In loving memory Gordon Duncan McALLISTER April 23 1916-June 2 2001.
Gordon McALLISTER, a resident of Spring Bay, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, June 2, 2001, at the age of 85 years. He was born at Grimesthorpe, son of the late Neil and Pearl {LEWIS} McALLISTER.
Gordon was very blessed, in the fact he was able to work his entire life at farming, a job he truly loved. He was also an avid hunter, hunting every year until this past one, when he was unable to because of this health. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and in return was loved by his family.
Dearly loved husband of Kay {CAMPBELL} McALLISTER, loving and loved father and father-in-law of Larry and Shirley McALLISTER of Naughton, Linda McLEAN and her partner Peter HALL of Copper Cliff, Jack and Terri McALLISTER of Massey and Ron McALLISTER of Copper Cliff. Proud grandfather of Anita and her husband Gerry, Tom, Tammy and her husband Brian, Darren and his wife Zacha, Darcy, Brad, Becky, Brenna and Ashley, and great grandchildren Anthony, Johnny and Sarah. Dear brother of Nelda, Dorothy, Calvin and Marie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Elgin. The funeral service was conducted in the William G. Turner Chapel on Tuesday, June 5 with Reverend Frank HANER officiating. Interment in Grimesthorpe Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay.

In loving memory of Lottie (née PYETTE) DOYLE who passed away peacefully at the Elmgrove Living Centre, Toronto on Sunday July 29 2001.
Lottie DOYLE, beloved wife of the late Ed DOYLE.
Dear mother of Sheila MacLEAN and her husband David, and Edna RYDER and her husband Al. Dear grandmother of Stephen, Bryan, Sarah, the late Robert, Patrick, Emily, and Lauren. Survived by sisters Daisy MOORE, Mildred PICKERING, and many other relatives. Friends were received at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas St. West, Toronto, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday August 1, at 1: 30 pm from Holy Family Church, 1372 King St. West, Toronto. Interment St. James Cemetery, Colgan, Ont. Many thanks to the staff of Elmgrove Living Centre for all of their compassion and care shown throughout the years.

Barry Leroy CLARK
In loving memory of Barry Leroy CLARK who passed away September 19, 2001 in Sault Ste. Marie at the age of 61 years.
Barry was born in Mindemoya to the late Harvey and Myrtle CLARK. He was raised in Toronto and Burwash, then moved to Sudbury during his high school years. He taught in Providence Bay for three years and then moved to Sault Ste. Marie and continued teaching until retirement. Barry was known for his fine sense of humour and his political cartoon sketches which were published in the "Soo This Week", "Northern Life," and "Business This Week." Barry also belonged to the Soo Barbershoppers. He will be missed by many. Loved husband of Gail (née LOWERY/LOWREY/LOWRIE/LOWRY) of North Bay. Predeceased by father Harvey CLARK and Myrtle (née MONKHOUSE) CLARK. Dear father of Tracy, Todd and Chad. Dear brother of Thear CLARK of Little Current, Nelda McEWEN of Goderich and Brent CLARK of Kenmore, Alberta. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Saturday, September 22, 2001. Funeral service was held on Sunday, September 23, 2001 with Reverends McLEISH and WHITE/WHYTE officiating. Cremation afterwards.

Norman James McLEOD
In loving memory of Norman James McLEOD, December 15 1925-May 2 2001.
Norman J. McLEOD, a resident of the Wikwemikong Nursing Home died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at the age of 75 years. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta, son of the late Reverend Norman and Nancy Beatrice {FAREWELL} McLEOD. Norman is a veteran of World War II, serving in the Infantry and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Norman worked at the Experimental Farm in Ottawa, then moved to Sudbury and relocated to Manitowaning, operating John's Drive-in Restaurant for a few years. Norm enjoyed classical music, collecting model cars and tinkering with electronics and small appliances.
Dear friend of June NEWMAN of Manitowaning. Norman will be sadly missed by his children Grant and wife Connie of Chiliwack, B.C. and Nancy and husband Kevin of Canmore, Alberta, and sister Meriam BELWAY of Sudbury. Dear grandfather of Lisa, Ryan, Daniel, Gabriel, Kelly Ann, Graham and also survived by nieces and nephews.
At Norman's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home, Manitowaning. A Legion Service was held prior to the memorial service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home.
