In loving memory of Nancy (née SHAWANGONABE (ABEL) BAIN, Friday, November 1, 2002 at her residence at the age of 66 years.
Beloved long-time companion of Gerald GENEROUS of Sudbury. Loving mother of Ursula ABEL, Ron BAIN (wife Linda) both of Sudbury, Thomas of Toronto, Ann-Marie of Sudbury, Darlene GEAUVREAU (husband Alex) of Whitefish Lake, Diane of Whitby, and Debra of Sudbury. Cherished Nana to Melissa, Shane, Ron Jr., Raven, Neil, Jansen, Christopher, Shanna, Jasmine, Dylan, Montana, Jacob, Wyatt, Garrett and great grandchildren Julian and Reed. Dear daughter of Margaret (nee DEBASSIGE) and Angus Ignatius ABEL (predeceased.) Dear sister of Agnes WARNER (husband Butch,) Evelyn BISSCHOPS, Simon ABEL, Nellie LACOMBE (husband Hector) , Jessie RYCKMAN (husband Bob) and Don ABEL, predeceased by Eugene, Sylvester, Paul, Marjorie ABEL, and Stella ROBILLARD. Aunt Nancy will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Nancy will always be remembered for her loving dedication to her children and grandchildren. One of her greatest past times was watching her grand_son Chris play hockey as she was his #1 fan. She had an avid passion for gardening and walking and received spiritual guidance from daily readings of the Bible. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Service in the Church of Epiphany, 85 Larch St. Sudbury, Wednesday, November 6th, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery, Sudbury.

Vincent ABEL
In loving memory of Vincent ABEL, February 16, 1919 to December 17, 2002.
Vincent ABEL, a resident of the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, and formerly of M'Chigeeng, passed away at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home on Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at the age of 83 years.
He was the son of the late Marion and Jonas SHAWANGONABE. Vincent was a very good and well known violin player, playing all around the area for many years, and was a veteran of World War 2.
Predeceased by his wife Annabelle (SOUTHWIND) Abel. Loved father of Peter (Mary Ann) of Toronto, Alice (predeceased,) Viola ANTOINE (Alphonse predeceased) of Vancouver, Doris (predeceased,) Josephine of Regina, Leonard (Cecile) of Toronto, Boniface (predeceased), James of Ottawa, Ida of Windsor, Lawrence (Joanne) of Wikwemikong, Charles (predeceased), Sam (predeceased) and an infant daughter also predeceased. Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Frank, Angus, Jonas, Johnny and other brothers and sisters.
Friends called the M'Chigeeng Complex on Thursday and Friday December 18 and 19. The funeral mass was celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, M'Chigeeng on
Saturday December 21, 2002 with Father Robert FOLIOT officiating. Interment in M'Chigeeng Cemetery. Culgin Funeral Home

ABERNETHY, Sandra Ann -- Of R.R.1, Elmwood, passed away at Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, December 16, 2002. She was 59. Survived by husband Bruce ABERNETHY, her extended family Bruce and wife Jutta ABERNETHY of London, Allan and wife Lia ABERNETHY of Bradford, Blair and wife Caroline ABERNETHY of Toronto, Julienna and husband Howard DOVE of Australia, 8 grandchildren, mother Marjorie CLARK of Picton, brother Dr. Donald CLARK and his wife Jane of Ottawa, sister Gail and husband Dr. Gary JOHNSON of Ottawa. Predeceased by father Donald CLARK. Cremation has taken place with a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date. Memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Dearly beloved sister and niece of Eugene DE LA MOTTE, Christine and Kenneth BROWN, Hyacinth and Nimal EGODAGEDERA, Kathleen and Priyantha ABEYWARDANE, all of Canada, Melvin and Therese DE LA MOTTE, Kenneth and Christine DE LA MOTTE, Michael and Mangalika DE LA MOTTE, all of Italy, Cecilia and Sarath DE SILVA of Sri Lanka. Patricia and the little flower Marissa will be sadly missed by their many uncles and aunts and all their dear cousins. Marissa will also be sadly missed at Sts. Cosmos and Damian Catholic School.
