In loving memory of Wilda Mae
CLARK,
June 15, 1920 to June 4, 2002.
Wilda CLARK, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge, and formerly of
Spring Bay and Sudbury died at the Lodge on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at
the age of 81 years. She was born at Mindemoya, and had lived at
Spring Bay, where she had been very active in the community. Wilda
and her husband Gordon farmed for many years. She was a very
dedicated wife, mother and community worker. Wilda helped run the
farm, milking cows and all other chores on the farm, as well as
keeping house, gardening and most of all, a caring mother to her
husband and children. She had a fierce independence, a trait which
will be cherished by her family. Wilda was a very active member of
the Missionary Church in Spring Bay, the Women's Institute and after
moving to Sudbury she dedicated her time to day care and working for
the CNIB.
One of her favourite pastimes was playing the piano, which
she learned to play by ear.
Wilda's husband Gordon predeceased in 1970. Dearly loved mother of

The funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel of the
Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay, on Monday, June 17, 2002 at 11 a.m.
with Reverend Frank
HANER officiating. Friends called at the Funeral
home from 10-11 a.m. Interment in Mindemoya Cemetery.
