DOLMAGE, Elspeth King (CRAIG) -- Peacefully, at Ajax-Pickering Hospital, with her family by her side, on Thursday, December 26, 2002. Elspeth King DOLMAGE, entered into rest in her 79th year. Beloved and cherished wife for 60 years of William Emerald DOLMAGE. Loving mother of Brenda KONKLE of Oshawa, Karin FERNLUND (Robert,) June TUTAK (Ron) of Whitby, Joanne ANDERSON (Bill) of Hamilton. Dear grandmother of Sherry Lynn, Christine, Deborah, Greg, Brian, Lisa, Jason, Sean, Jennifer, Ryan, and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Archie CRAIG (Jean), George CRAIG (Margaret) of Whitby, Bob CRAIG (Mary), Jackie CRAIG (Anita), James LAWRIE, and sister Catherine AITKEN of Scotland. Predeceased by brothers Hugh and Donald and sisters Margaret and Grace. She will be sadly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland on July 23, 1924, Elspeth was the first war bride to come to Pickering Village in 1944. Active in Benevolent Rebekah Lodge No. 132 and Eastern Star Lodge No. 248 and lifetime member of the Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at Oshawa Funeral Service ''Thornton Chapel,'' 847 King St. West (905-721-1234), for visitation on Saturday, December 28th from 7 - 9 p.m. and Sunday, December 29th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 30th at 3: 00 p.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hospital for Sick Children Foundation (Toronto).

Leslie Earl SAWYER
In loving memory of Leslie Earl Sawyer who passed away peacefully at his home in Picton with his family on November 14, 2002 at the age of 82 years.
Predeceased by parents Dorothea (BRISTOW) and Wilfred SAWYER, sister Evelyn FARRELL and wives Audrey TUTCHENER and Alma THORBURN PLATT.
Loving father of Barbara Ann VOLLICK (Ron, predeceased) of Brampton and William (Grace) of Tehkummah. Will be missed by his 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A time of remembrance for Friends and family was held at his home, Sunday, November 17. Arrangements by Whattam Funeral Home, Picton.
