Isadore Ignatius TRUDEAU
In loving memory of Isadore Ignatius TRUDEAU, January 15, 1932-January 24, 2002.
Isadore Trudeau, a resident of Wikwemikong passed away at Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Site Thursday afternoon January 24, 2002 at the age of 70 years.
He was born in Wikwemikong, son of the late Ignatius and Olive {KITCHIKEG} TRUDEAU. Isadore worked for the Public Works Department as an equipment operator for 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and ice fishing. He also enjoyed driving for other people. Beloved husband of the late Josephine {JACKO} TRUDEAU. Dear and loving father of Linda (David,) Jimmy (Edwina,) Donna (Richie,) Richard (Jenny,) Monica, Isadore Junior, Arthur, Stuart, and Ramona. Dear grandfather of 33 grandchildren and predeceased by 2 grandchildren. Dear and loving brother of Alphonse, Victor (Dorothy,) Rose (predeceased) husband Victor TOULOUSE, Stella (Smitty), Maxie (Loretta), Randy (Maureen) and Elizabeth (Lloyd). Brother-in-law of Frank (Lima) JACKO and Rennie JOCKO. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass was held from Holy Cross Church on January 28, 2002 with Father Doug McCARTHY as celebrant. Interment will follow in Wikwemikong Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home.

Elaine Mary {ENOSSE} DEBASSIGE
In loving memory of Elaine Mary {ENOSSE} DEBASSIGE, January 11, 1953-January 14, 2002.
Elaine DEBASSIGE, a resident of Wahnapitaie First Nation, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 14, 2002 at the age of 49 years. She was born in Wikwemikong, daughter of Georgina {OSAWANIMIKI} ENOSSE and the late Lawrence ENOSSE. Elaine taught school in Armstrong and Gull Bay before her retirement. Her favourite pastime was doing native arts and crafts.
Dear wife of Roque DEBASSIGE of M'Chigeeng. Dear and loving mother of Renee (friend Clayton) of Sudbury, Suzanne (friend Dana) of Winnipeg, Troy of Thunder Bay, Burford and Donovan of M'Chigeeng. Loving sister of Gary and wife Murielle of Elliot Lake, David ENOSSE of Sudbury, Zoey and husband Jim WOOD SOLOMON of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by one sister Claudette. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Gina, Warren, Raeanne, Vladimer and Nimkii as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass was held from St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni on Friday, January 18, 2002 with Father Doug McCARTHY as celebrant. Interment to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home.

Genevieve Mildred BARON
In loving memory of Genevieve Mildred BARON " Gen" on Sunday, March 10, 2002 at Manitoulin Centennial Manor at the age of 82 years.
Born to Jeremiah and Ida McCARTHY on January 14, 1917. In 1937 she married Louis BARON (died in 1992.) Moving to Little Current in 1940, where she worked at Manitoulin Health Centre as an Registered Nursing Assistant retiring in 1985.
Loving mother to Robert (Cicelia,) Brenda (Richard CHAPMAN predeceased), Michelle. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Peter, Eric, Joelle, Jamie, Joseph, Patricia, Devon and Darcie. Great grandmother of Nicholas, Hannah, Daniel, Max, Zachary and Jillian.
Fondly remembered by brother Grant and sister Angeline. Predeceased by 11 other siblings. Many nieces and nephews will have special memories. Visitation at Brenda CHAPMAN's home on Tuesday March 12. Memorial Mass at 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday March 13, 2002 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with burial of ashes in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Island Funeral Home

Jules Vincent TRUDEAU
In loving memory of Jules Vincent TRUDEAU, June 6, 1985-May 18, 2002.
Jules Vincent TRUDEAU, went peacefully in the arms of Jesus at his residence in Wikwemikong on Saturday May 18, 2002 at the age of 16 years. Jules was born in Sudbury, son of Jarvis and Judy {PITAWANAKWAT} TRUDEAU of Buzwah. Jules enjoyed his computer, his many computer games and reading books.
Beloved son of Jarvis and Judy {PITAWANAKWAT} TRUDEAU. Loving brother of Mark, Rodney, Alison (predeceased) and Chelsea all of Wikwemikong. Loving grand_son of William and Helen TRUDEAU both predeceased and Moses and Leona PITAWANAKWAT both predeceased. Sadly missed by nephews Kyle, Jordan, Darien, Garret and niece Sierra and special cousins Bradley and Bryanna. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and relatives called at Jules' home, on Sunday May 19, 2002. Funeral Mass will be held from Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong on Wednesday May 22, 2002 at 11: 00 a.m. Father Douglas McCARTHY will be celebrant. Interment will follow in Wikwemikong Cemetery, Wikwemikong.

Theresa V. SAGO- COOPER
Theresa SAGO- COOPER, a resident of Kaboni passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on May 20, 2002 at the age of 62 years.
Theresa was born in Sagamok daughter of the David and Edna {GADABUSHI} FRANCIS. Theresa was a housewife and foster mother and spent many hours with her children and foster children. She also was a good cook and enjoyed doing many native arts and crafts. Beloved wife of Andrew J. COOPER of Wikwemikong. Loving mother of Bill (friend Samantha) of Sagamok, Connie (friend Larry) of Sudbury, Marcel and Patricia (friend Paul) all of Wikwemikong, and John of Sudbury. Proud and loving grandmother of Nicole, Kyle, Leo, Che, Amber, Tory, Todd, Tamarra, Damian, Diamond, Chelsey, Marcel Jr., and Leigh-Ann. Dear sister of Lyla KING (husband Randy) of Christian Island, Valarie OWL (husband Joseph) of Massey and Charlie DILLIEN (wife Judy) of Webbwood. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. Adeline Mary KING
May 3, 1915 to December 14, 2002
Adeline KING, a resident of Wikwemikong, passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current, on Saturday, December 14 2002 at the age of 87 years.
She was born in Wikwemikong, daughter of the late David and Jane (ASSINEWE) CORBIERE.
Part of her life was spent raising her family on the farm, then she worked in Oakville for a period of time, before returning to Wikwemikong in the mid '50s. She was a member of AMIKOOK and the Catholic Church. She will be remembered by
her family as a kind and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She will be sadly missed, but many happy memories will be cherished.
Adeline was predeceased by her beloved husband David KING in 1981.
Loving and loved mother of Cecil, wife Catherine KING of Saskatoon Donald, wife Elaine KING of Fort Erie Elizabeth, husband Gary GAUTHIER of Peterborough and Loretta, husband Len McDONALD of Orillia.
Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Also survived by sister-in-law Rita CORBIERE of Wikwemikong, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Adam, Ambrose and his wife Angeline, John and his wife Victoria and James and his wife Mary. Friends called the Holy Cross Mission, on Sunday December 15 and Monday December 16. The funeral mass was held at the Holy Cross Mission on Tuesday December 17, 2002 with Father Douglas McCARTHY as celebrant. Interment in Buzwah Cemetery. Culgin Funeral Home
