Dorothy ADDISON
(October 22, 1914 - February 8, 2004,) a resident of
Silver Water, passed away at her residence on Silver Lake on Sunday,
February 8, 2004, at the age of 89 years. She was born at Silver
Water, daughter of the late John and Elma
(EDMONDS)
HOPKINS.
Dorothy lived her entire life on the family farm at Silver Water.
She was involved in the community, at church as a member of Saint
Andrew's United church and attended Saint Peter's Anglican church where
she played the organ until recently. Dorothy was also a life member
of the United Church Women, the Women's Institute and a Community Hall board member.
Music played an important part of her life as she played for the Old
Time Orchestra, church and at various occasions at the nursing home.
Her hobbies included: knitting, crocheting, quilting, gardening.
Aside from her family and community, Dorothy's greatest love was her
music. She will be sadly missed, but many memories will be cherished
by all who knew her.

Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay, after 7: 00 pm on
Tuesday. The funeral service will be conducted in the William G. Turner
Chapel on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 11: 00 am with Mr. Erwin
THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and Reverend Beth
TOPPS officiating. Spring interment in Silver Lake Cemetery.

LLOYD,
January 14, 1920 - July 30, 2004.
Spray LLOYD, a resident of Extendicare York, Sudbury, died at Sudbury Regional Hospital,
Saint Joseph’s Site on Friday, July 30, 2004 at the age of 84 years.
Spray was born on January 14, 1920 in Rockville, Ontario, daughter of the late Wellington and
Jane (COSBY)
PARKINSON. On December 3, 1941 she married Thomas (Harry)
LLOYD of Billings Township.
Harry predeceased Spray in the fall of 1972. Spray was very active in her community and was a
member of the United Church. Spray also enjoyed gardening, quilting, euchre and spending time
with her many dear family and Friends. She will be sadly missed by all, but many memorable
times will be cherished. Spray had 4 siblings: Mary
McVEY and husband Cecil of Honora (both predeceased.)

was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at 2 pm with Rev Mary Jo
ECKERT
TRACY officiating, assisted by Pastor Maxine
McVEY.
