Lloyd Otto LINDNER
In loving memory of Lloyd Otto LINDNER who died suddenly in Espanola on Saturday, December 11, 2004, age 74 years.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth. Loved by his children Kathryn LINDNER and husband Chris RADDER of New Hamburg, Rob and wife Beth LINDNER of McGregor Bay. Will be greatly missed by his only cherished grand_son William. Remembered by sister Ruth HEBEL. Predeceased by brothers Henry and Bernhardt. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
In celebration of the life of a man who lived life by his own rules. He was an aviator, marksman, outdoorsman and avid supporter of Ducks Unlimited. Lloyd earned a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo which lead him to win the World Design Award 1967 for heavy equipment. He was a member of the Grand River and Doric Masonic Lodges for 52 years. With his brother Henry, they owned and operated a tool and die company in Kitchener. In 1971 he became a tourist operator with his wife Betty and together they were active members of Norther Ontario Tourist Outfitters. Additionally, Lloyd was the executive secretary for the McGregor Bay Assoc. earning a lifetime achievement award upon his retirement. While Lloyd, during his life, had the opportunity to work and travel all over the globe, he chose to reside in his favourite spot in the world, McGregor Bay. During his lifetime, Lloyd touched many lives. We will miss you.

Friends will gather to remember and celebrate the life of Lloyd on July 3, 2005 at 2: 00 at Camp Hiawatha, McGregor Bay. Arrangements in care of Island Funeral Home.
