Born February 28, 1921 in Montreal, Quebec, the daughter of Mark and Eva SAVAGE. Beloved wife of Philip Gardner ROGERS. Devoted mother of Philip (Patricia,) Anne TAILOR/TAYLOR (Thomas,) and Gordon (Dr. Veda STOREY.) Also survived by her ten grandchildren, Laura, Wesley, Derek, Keenan, Devon, Aidan, Corin, Brydan, Leith and Ivy Catherine. Predeceased by her brothers Mark and Victor SAVAGE and sister Helen IRVIN. Marguerite▲ was a resident of Heritage Village in Vineland, Ontario. She was an avid figure skater, curler, golfer and a lover of classical music. It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our dearly loved Joe. Peacefully in faith and surrounded by his loving family at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Monday, February 21, 2005. Joe LUNDY of Barrie was the beloved husband of 45 years to Jeannette. Dearest father to Lisa (Joe) CARTAGINESE, Deanna (Bruce) MARTIN, and Christopher LUNDY (friend Pamela HENDERSON) all of Barrie. He was the perfect Papa to his dearly loved grandchildren Amanda and Natalie CARTAGINESE, Justin and Jordan MARTIN, Taylor and Kailyn LUNDY and step-grand_son Kyle MARTIN. Predeceased by his infant daughters Maria, Theresa and Josephine, and his parents Richard and Madeline LUNDY. He will be deeply missed by his brothers Michael (Carol) LUNDY of Ottawa, Jim (Jane) LUNDY of Markham, and his sister Mary (William) WALKER of Markham and their families. Remembered with love by his mother-in-law Mary SOKIL (late Harry SOKIL,) brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mike and Dianne and nephew Shane McBRIDE, Betty EATON and family, and Lorraine LUNDY. Also survived by his extended family Margaret TAILOR/TAYLOR and family of Patna, Scotland, as well as many close and dear Friends. Joe was born in Toronto, Ontario, on April 11th, 1936. He joined Bell Canada in 1954 and worked in Northern Ontario for many years before he and his family moved to Orangeville and then Barrie in 1967. He was a member of the Bell Canada Pioneers and the Barrie Historical Society. After retiring in 1990, he and Jeannette travelled extensively, something they enjoyed very much. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and working at his small engine repair business, and foremost spending time with the apples of his eye his grandchildren. Ellen IRVINE passed away peacefully at the Hannah Walker Place in Owen Sound on Wednesday, November 16th, 2005, in her 91st year. The former Ellen Rose GRASLEY was the loving wife of the late Stanley Archibald IRVINE. She was the loving mother of Ron and his wife Jeanette, Don, and Joan HOLLIS and her husband Irvine. Mrs. IRVINE is also survived by her daughter-in-law Marilyn IRVINE and a brother Walter GRASLEY. She will be sadly missed by her fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son John, a daughter-in-law Leona, brothers: Lloyd and Vic and sisters: Edith GRIFFITH and Dorothy STEAN. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at University Hospital, London, Ontario, on May 18, 2005 Frederick John HAMLIN, at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Avalon for 36 years. Devoted father of Jennifer (Allan IRVINE) of Sudbury and Craig (Laura MAXWELL) of Halifax. Proud grandpa of Maria HAMLIN. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Hanna HAMLIN, Toronto, and sister Carol, Georgetown. Sadly mourned by his nieces and nephews, and other family and Friends.
Born in Toronto, Fred was a long time resident of Sarnia, Ontario. Graduated with a B.A.Sc. (Chemical Engineering) from the University of Toronto in 1962 where he played hockey for the Varsity Blues, a sport which he loved, and passed this love on to his son. Retired from an over 30-year career with Dow Chemical as a Chemical Engineer. An avid fisherman, golfer, and squash player, he also restored antique jukeboxes and pinball machines from the 50's and 60's, a joy in his retirement years. His time spent at the cottage was a special joy, particularly his Finnish sauna. A private pilot, his love of flying he passed on to his daughter. Admired by all who knew him for his calm and thoughtful manner and strong work ethic. He will be honored in death by his donation of his organs to help preserve the lives of others. A memorial service will be held at the Sarnia Riding Club, 980 Riding Club Lane, Sarnia this Friday, May 20, 2005 from 7 to 11 p.m. A private funeral service with interment will be held in Ingoldsby (near Minden, Ontario) on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Sarnia Humane Society or the charity of your choice. Died at home in Centreville, Maryland, on June 20th 2005. He was 73. Ted is survived by his beloved wife, Marion; his sister, Rosemary IRVINE of Ottawa; son, Simon of Karana Downs, Australia stepson, Coburn BOYD of New York; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Emily GREER/GRIER of Karana Downs. Ted was the son of Geoffrey GREER/GRIER, A.R.C.A., and Jocelyn Wilson GREER/GRIER and the grand_son of Sir E. Wyly GREER/GRIER, P.R.C.A. Ted's father and grandfather were landscape and portrait painters and his own work, in watercolour and oils, reflects both artistic lineages. Ted graduated from McDonald High School in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, attended McGill and studied art in Toronto. In London, Bermuda, Nassau, Ft. Lauderdale and Maryland, he worked as a longshoreman, ship's cook, airline agent, sailor, photographer, graphics designer and crab fisherman - a wealth of experiences to feed his active and creative mind. A memorial service will be held in Centreville on June 25th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Queen Anne's County, Queenston, Maryland 21658-1365.

On November 29, 2005 my cherished and beloved husband Bob (Bobby) left us for a Higher Order. We lived a full and happy, but shortened, life together. His suffering was brief. Bob was born in New Jersey on the 24th of May, 1946, the son of Angelo and Genevieve DEMARCO who live in Florida. He is also survived by his sisters, Marjorie and Genevieve; nephews Joe, Matt, Dan; niece Lisa; and several great nephews and nieces. Bob spent more than twenty-five years as a valued member of the reinsurance industry. He is remembered by his colleagues, not only as an extremely knowledgeable associate, but more so as a kind, generous and happy fellow.
