was born in Toronto, Ontario, on April 11th, 1936. He joined
Bell Canada in 1954 and worked in Northern Ontario for many years
before he and his family moved to Orangeville and then Barrie
in 1967. He was a member of the Bell Canada Pioneers and the
Barrie Historical Society. After retiring in 1990, he and Jeannette
travelled extensively, something they enjoyed very much. He also
enjoyed hunting, fishing and working at his small engine repair
business, and foremost spending time with the apples of his eye
his grandchildren. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham

Born in Toronto, Fred was a long time resident of Sarnia, Ontario.
Graduated with a B.A.Sc. (Chemical Engineering) from the University
of Toronto in 1962 where he played hockey for the Varsity Blues,
a sport which he loved, and passed this love on to his son. Retired
from an over 30-year career with Dow Chemical as a Chemical Engineer.
An avid fisherman, golfer, and squash player, he also restored
antique jukeboxes and pinball machines from the 50's and 60's,
a joy in his retirement years. His time spent at the cottage
was a special joy, particularly his Finnish sauna. A private
pilot, his love of flying he passed on to his daughter. Admired
by all who knew him for his calm and thoughtful manner and strong
work ethic. He will be honored in death by his donation of his
organs to help preserve the lives of others. A memorial service
will be held at the Sarnia Riding Club, 980 Riding Club Lane,
Sarnia this Friday, May 20, 2005 from 7 to 11 p.m. A private
funeral service with interment will be held in Ingoldsby (near
Minden, Ontario) on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. In lieu

and studied art in Toronto. In London, Bermuda, Nassau, Ft. Lauderdale
and Maryland, he worked as a longshoreman, ship's cook, airline
agent, sailor, photographer, graphics designer and crab fisherman
- a wealth of experiences to feed his active and creative mind.
A memorial service will be held in Centreville on June 25th.

left us for a Higher Order. We lived a full and happy, but shortened,
life together. His suffering was brief. Bob was born in New Jersey
on the 24th of May, 1946, the

who live in Florida. He is also survived by his sisters, Marjorie
and Genevieve; nephews Joe, Matt, Dan; niece Lisa; and several
great nephews and nieces. Bob spent more than twenty-five years

Peacefully at Centenary Hospital on Wednesday, November 2, 2005
in her 90th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Henry. Beloved
mother of Brian and mother-in-law of Kathryn. Dear sister of
Shirley IRVINE. In keeping with her wishes, a private family
interment service will be held on Monday November 7, 2005. A
memorial gathering will be held at a later date. If desired,
donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
or the Diabetes Association.
