Suddenly but in the end, peacefully, passed away on June 28th
at Sunnybrook Hospital, the result of complications due to breast
cancer. 62 years of age was far too young for someone who provided
so much love and touched the lives of so many. Her life was devoted
to helping others, first as a hairdresser and salon owner in
the Yorkville area and then later in life, as a holistic practitioner
in the Bloor West Village.
The outpouring of love and sorrow from Friends, family and co-workers
from around the globe is evidence that she has left a true legacy
which should be an inspiration to us all!
She is survived by her sons Marc and Bruce and her grandchildren
Cameron, Lena, Eric, Heidi and Tobler. Our loss is also felt
in Switzerland and New Zealand where her sisters, nieces, nephew
and the extended Schallenberg family and Friends reside.
A memorial gathering will be held at noon on July 18th at the
Malibu Club, 2261 Lakeshore Blvd. West, Etobicoke. Please contact

Municipal Councillor for Ward 3 -- Clearview Township, which
lead to his appointment to the Niagara Escarpment Commission
and service on the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority
and other environmental committees. A service in celebration
