Of the Precious Blood Monastery in Hamilton, died the Feast of
the Presentation of Mary, Monday, November 21st, 2005. In union
with Jesus, and in a spirit of faith, she lovingly accepted her
cross of suffering from recurring cancer. As she realized her
time on earth was limited, it became very evident how much she
was longing for eternal life...to be with the God she loved and
served so faithfully. Sister Helen Aurelia was in her 90th year
and 70th year of Religious Vows. Sister entered the Precious
Blood Monastery in London in 1933 and was one of the Founding
Members of the Peterborough Monastery at 83 Robinson St. Sister
served our Congregation in various places and in responsible
positions. She served as Superior, General Bursar, charge of
Altar Bread Department and in the Secretary's Office where she
became energized while responding to the needs of the people
who contacted us for prayer. Her love and confidence in the Precious
Blood of Jesus will continue to be a lasting inspiration to us
all. She will be greatly missed. Sister Helen Aurelia is predeceased
