RICE, Lily Elsie (née WIDDIFIELD)
At her residence on Wednesday, April 27, 2005. Lily Elsie RICE of Caressant Care, Bonnie Place, Saint Thomas and formerly R.R.#1, Belmont and Aylmer in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Russell C. RICE (2002.) Dear mother of Jim RICE and wife Huguette of Victoria, British Columbia and Laura ADCOCK and partner Al ROBSON of Pt. Stanley and mother-in-law to Doug GLENISTER and wife Lila of Churchill, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Jamie, Randy and Lori-Ann RICE, Loni EARHART and Steve GLENISTER and a number of great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Joan GLENISTER (2002) and 5 sisters Ruth, Lemma, Lorraine, Clara and Eileen. Born in Orwell on May 30, 1915 daughter of the late Comley Dufferin and Caroline (FISHER) WIDDIFIELD. Lily was a resident of R.R.#1 Belmont for many years and a member of the Aylmer Gospel Church. She was a nurse and worked for the Red Cross. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 1: 00 p.m. Interment, Springfield Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

THATCHER, Wendy (previously ADCOCK)
Passed away November 2, 2005 at Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved wife of over 10 years to John THATCHER, predeceased by Hugh ADCOCK. Wendy will be sadly missed by her daughters Carol ADCOCK and her partner Tim MITRA and Pat BUSTARD and her husband Peter, grand_sons David KUEHLEIN and his wife Nanthekha THIYAGARAJAH, Jonathan KUEHLEIN and his wife Sherrie and Adam BUSTARD, granddaughter Jennifer BUSTARD and partner Neal KENNEDY and by great-grand_sons Xavier and Foster KUEHLEIN. Many Friends and family will also miss her in her native Ireland. A strong believer in giving of her time, Wendy was an enthusiastic participant and gifted teacher for almost 50 years with the Margaret Morris Movement and worked extensively to help those suffering with Parkinson's disease. Friends will be received at the Neweduk Funeral Home - "Mississauga Chapel", 1981 Dundas St. W. (1 block East of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Wendy's Life will be held on Monday, November 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. Reception information will be available after the funeral at Neweduk Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinson Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
