to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 6. Cremation
will be held on Saturday, October 8, at 11: 30 a.m. at Riverside
Crematorium.
KUNABALASINGHAM showed no difference with anyone
he came in contact with. He was a straightforward man who wanted

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 2, 2005 in his 89th
year. Survived by his dear wife Gaida, sons Maris and Juris,
daughters Rita and Daina, and their families. He will be missed
by his relatives and many Friends both here and abroad. Visitation

At Woodlands of Sunset, in Pelham, on June 30th, 2005 in his
83rd year. Beloved husband of 56 years to Sibyl. Predeceased
by his parents and brother Harry. Survived by his children Sigrid
(Bill JOSEPH) of Wellesley, Massachussetts, Ann of Toronto, Karen
(John APSIMON) of Ottawa, Eric (Connie) of Fort McMurray and
Carl (Jane) of St. Catharines, and grandchildren Abigail, Hannah,
Rebecca, Megan, Noah, Teddy, Timothy, Carmen, Natalie, and Charlie.
Also brother Oscar (Nellie) of Texas. Eric was employed by Reliance
Electric in Welland and Ferranti-Packard as Chief Engineer. He
served as mayor of Pelham for ten years. He also served as president
of the Niagara Symphony and was an active member of Holy Trinity
Anglican Church. Eric was honoured for his community service
by the Ontario government, Brock University, Ontario March of
Dimes, the Diocese of Niagara and many others. The family wishes
to thank the staff of Woodlands for their excellent care. There
will be no funeral home visitation. The funeral service will
be conducted at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 1557 Pelham Street,
Fonthill, on Tuesday, July 5th, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Reception
to follow. Donations to the Niagara Symphony, Ontario March of
Dimes, Parkinson Society or Holy Trinity Anglican Church would
