Suddenly, on June 10th, 2005, Mrs. Laura AXON, of London, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest AXON (1987.) Loving mother of Bob (Keri) Woodstock, and Betty, St. Catharines. Proud grandmother of Robin (Tara), Oakville, Steven (Amanda), Switzerland, and greatgrandmother of Avery and Annabel. Dear friend of Ken ASQUITH. Much loved sister of Jack PATERSON (Florence,) the late Hazel PRICE (Al), Roy PATERSON (Orpha), Keith PATERSON (Mary), Alice LAWRENCE and Bob PATERSON (Nancy.) Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2: 00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 15th, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m., with Reverend Philip Newman officiating. Private interment of ashes at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Laura are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity or church, of your choice.

Beatrice May PALMATEER, passed away peacefully in her 95th year, on Thursday July 14, 2005, at Country Terrace Nursing Home, Komoka. Beloved mother of Shirley (David) BARNES and Kenneth (Lynda) GRAHAM. Also survived by grandchildren Cathy (Bruce) ASQUITH, Cheryl CAMPBELL, Kim GRAHAM, Chet (Michelle) GRAHAM, Corey (Dawn) GRAHAM, greatgrandchildren Ashley, Michelle and Tina ASQUITH, Matthew, Jordan and Melissa ONDERWATER, Payton ROOT, Kevin, Dylan, Bodie and Trinity GRAHAM, Tylor GASPAR- GADD, Paul and Lisa (KOBE) O'BRIEN and great-greatgrandchild Niya. Beatrice was predeceased by her husbands Chester GRAHAM (1976) and Glen PALMATEER (1988,) her son David GRAHAM (1998) and her grand_son David Campbell (1999.) McCARTHY, Isabelle Jean (née ASQUITH)
Passed away at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto on February 5, 2005 in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Emmeline and Hebert ASQUITH. She is survived by her husband, Dr. John R. McCARTHY, her daughter, Judith Ann MANSON, and grand_sons, Scott M. MANSON and John J. MANSON. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis PATTYSON and her brother, Douglas ASQUITH and his wife, Alda. Predeceased by her sister Margarite LECOCQ. Isabelle was born and raised in Fort William. She attended Fort William Collegiate Institute and the North Bay Normal School. She began her teaching career in the Hurkett area and then joined the staff of the Fort William Public School Board. She taught in the Health Park and Ogden Public Schools. Isabelle was a former member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Fort William and a member of its choir. She was also a member of Leaside Presbyterian Church in Toronto. The funeral service will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) on Wednesday, February 9th at 3 o'clock. Interment will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, with a reception to follow. Thank you to the wonderful, caring staff of Belmont House who participated so helpfully in Isabelle's life for the past four and a half years.

On March 17, 2005, Reg passed away in his 88th year. Predeceased by his loving wife, Reba. Dear father of son George and his wife Ann (WHITEHORSE) and daughter, Anne and her husband, Tom MUELLER, (Calgary.) Proud grandfather of Stuart, Elizabeth and Laura MUELLER and Sarah and Ben BRADLEY. Reg will be dearly missed, yet fondly remembered by his family, many Friends and wonderful neighbours. Special thanks must go to his very special neighbours, especially Bill and Lisa TESKEY, Friends and caring homecare workers, notably Bryn ANDERSON, who tirelessly supported him in his wish to stay in his home of over 50 years for as long as possible. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Avenues), on Thursday, March 24, 2005 from 2: 00 p.m. until the Service of Remembrance in the chapel at 3: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Peacefully at home in Whitby, surrounded by family, on May 1, 2005 in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend Bruce and much-loved daughter Diane. Devoted and caring mother of Doug McCOLL and Debbie and her husband John ASQUITH. Wonderful " Nan" of grandchildren Andrew, Stephanie and Ian ASQUITH. Fondly remembered by her sister Jackie (and late Walter) HNATIUK and family, her cousin John SIDLE, his wife Nancy and family, and many close Friends. Private service in Kingston with interment in family plot in Saint Mary's Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Mom's life, Sunday June 12th, 2-6 p.m. at her home in Whitby. Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, January 25th, 2005, at St. Michael's Hospital, at age 71. Beloved wife of Delmer COULL for 51 years. Loving and devoted mother of Darlene ASQUITH (Terry,) and Donald COULL (Linda.) Cherished grandmother of Catherine, Michael, Christine, and Matthew. Sister to Edna (Guy), Hubert (Jean), Blanche (John), Gertrude (George), Jean (Albert), Isobel (Bert), Otis (Janice), and predeceased by Verna (Ed). Sister-in-law to Ina, Leslie (Cora), Ottis, Bogue (Dorothy), Sheila, Judy (Larry), and predeceased by Edna. Also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, relatives and Friends. A very special thank-you to all the staff at 2 Queen West Unit of St. Michael's Hospital for their excellent care and devotion to Doreen and her family. The family will receive Friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, January 30th. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's United Church, 65 King's Crescent, Ajax at 12: 00 noon on Monday, January 31, 2005. Interment to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens. It is with great sadness that the family of Susan JAMIESON wish to announce her passing, with her loving family by her side, after a short but valiant fight with cancer, at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the age of 57. Susan JAMIESON, of Keswick, beloved wife and best friend of Jack JAMIESON. Wonderful mother to Jill FORSYTH (David LUINENBERG,) Jeannette JAMIESON, Robb JAMIESON and his wife Nicole ASQUITH and David JAMIESON. Loving grandmother of Ashah JAGMINAS and Drake JAGMINAS.
