ATWELL, Cecil T.
Peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2005, Cecil T. ATWELL passed away at the McCormick Nursing Home in his 97th year. Loving father of Connie (Gord) WILLIS and Carol MICKS. Sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Dear cousin of Bev TAILOR/TAYLOR and father-in-law of Willard GREEN. Predeceased by his daughter Muriel GREEN. Funeral Service will be held at the Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road (east of Highbury), on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Woodland Cemetery. In memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Unexpectedly on Wednesday August 10, 2005, at the age of 72. Cherished mother of Theresa SCOTT and Joy IVANYSHYN, and her husband Tim. Loving grandmother of Erin, Katelyn and Stephanie. Dear sister of Yvonne ATWILL, and sister-in-law of David HILLHOUSE. Predeceased by her parents Gladys and Samuel, and sister Lorraine. Gloria will be lovingly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. BYERS, Jean Margaret (née HANMER)
At her residence on Friday September 9, 2005, Jean Margaret BYERS (née HANMER) of Tobin Place, Woodstock in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Edward BYERS (2002.) Dear mother of John and his wife Gaye and Mark and his wife Julie all of Woodstock and Robert and his friend Diane of Brantford. Loved grandmother of Brandon, Justin and Lindsey. Dear sister of Mary STIENSTRA and her husband Lou of Toronto and Clara McLAUGHLIN and her husband Tommy of Long Point. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Kirk HANMER. Jean was an avid golfer and member of Craigowan Golf and Country Club for many years. Cremation will be taking place. An open house and luncheon will be held at her residence on Saturday September 17, 2005 from 1-5 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church in Otterville on Sunday September 18, 2005 at 2: 30 p.m. with Reverend Zena ATWOOD officiating. Interment to follow in the Otterville Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, Woodstock (539-0004).
