AZZOPARDI,
Vincent (1940-2005)
A beautiful man has left us. Vince passed away on the evening
of September 27, 2005 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by
his parents, he is survived by his wife of almost 36 years, and
best friend in the world Linda (née
CAMPBELL,) his son Christopher
and his daughter Nicole, her husband Serafino and his sons Rocky
and Jake; his brothers Alfred (Margaret), David (Linda), and
Joseph (Pauline); his extended Campbell family, many nieces and
nephews on both sides, and many, many Friends. He was as kind
and gentle a man as ever there could be. A mechanic by trade,
his true love was woodworking and his talents in this regard
were limitless. He has left many beautiful and cherished pieces
of furniture in our homes, but even more broken hearts, for his
deepest talent was for loving us. He was a devoted husband, the
most loving brother, the very best daddy, a truly wonderful uncle,
neighbour, and friend. Ruby and Lucy will be waiting at the door
for a very long time for him to come home. Simple words could
never do justice just how much you were loved and cherished and
no one that ever knew you will ever be the same. We weren't ready
for this daddy, but we're so glad you're not hurting anymore.
Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north
of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 p.m.
and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Vince's life will be
held at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church (1789 Lawrence Ave. West)
on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 9: 30 a.m., followed by interment
at Riverside Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be
made to the Humane Society.
