MURPHY, Howard Bennett
Passed away at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, Ontario on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 after a lengthy battle with cancer, at the age of 75. Survived by his loving wife Jean CRAWFORD. Loved by his children Patricia NUTTALL (Peter), Laurie BYAM (Tom), Darrel MURPHY (Tracy), Kathryn MURPHY (Gary DOUGLAS/DOUGLASS), Cherie Lynn MASON (Tony.) Howard will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Connor, Morgan, Keegan, Garrett and Makenna. son of the late Milton and Maud MURPHY. Dear brother of Helen RICKARD, Isobel SHEPPARD, Ruth PATTON, Dorothy McCULLOUGH, John MURPHY (Bernice), Arthur "Pat" MURPHY, Frances NEVILS (Earl), Ronald MURPHY (Isabel) and predeceased by Donald MURPHY. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Resting at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria Street East, Alliston on Sunday, December 11, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 119 Wellington Street West, Alliston on Monday, December 12, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, 200 Fletcher Crescent, Alliston, Ontario L9R 1W7 would be appreciated.

Passed away on Monday, June 13, 2005 at Scarborough General Hospital after a lengthy illness, peacefully and quietly with his Wife, Daughter and son by his side. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Rosemary, daughter Virginia and husband Mark HORNBY, son Kenneth and wife Carol DOMIK, 5 grandchildren Melanie, Michael, Michelle, Megan and Benjamin. Also loved by his large extended family, mother Roza, brothers Zoltan, John and wife Shirley, Bob and wife Ann, brother-in-law to Edward and Cathy BYARD and Susan and Ross LONGWORTH. Much loved by many nieces and nephews, and Friends. Predeceased by his father John, and brother Ernest. He was a loving and loyal husband and an amazing father and grandfather. He had the ability to make Friends wherever he went. We will all miss his funny humour and kind nature, unconditional generosity, loyalty and love. All of you who knew him well, knew that he had a strong zest for Living life to the fullest. His outlook on life was 'how he could make it a better place to be'. We should all take his example and grab each day as it comes to us and live it to the fullest. He was a pivotal force in all of our lives and will be terribly missed. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, June 20th, 2005 at 1 p.m. at J.S. Jones and son Funeral Home at 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631, followed by a reception (lunch) and interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Georgetown. Passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Saturday, May 7th, 2005. The former Marion Louise CORVEC, of Durham, in her 67th year. Beloved wife of Stewart NEWELL. Loving mother of Kimberly and her husband, Ken FRY, of Durham, Kevin and his wife, Laine, of Victoria, British Columbia, Brian and his wife, Kim, of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Heather and her husband, Donald MARSHALL, of Durham. Fondly remembered by her five grandchildren. Sister of Barbara RAYNES, Joan BOLDOCK, Ann PAUL, Ronald CORVEC, Sandra CORVEC, Carol CORVEC, Cathy ARMSTRONG, Deborah ROBICHAUD, Brenda ELLSWORTH, George CORVEC, John CORVEC and Robert CORVEC. Predeceased by her sister, Betty BYARS. Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham, on Wednesday from 2: 00 to 4: 00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life for Marion NEWELL will be held at the Hanover Missionary Church, on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
