Born in Saint Thomas, July 5, 1914, the daughter of the late John and Clara (RANDALL) SQUANCE. Mrs. BROWN was a member of Centre St. Baptist Church, Saint Thomas, a member of the Ruth Fletcher Mission Circle of the church and formerly served on the renovation committee. A public memorial service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Tuesday, April 12th at 1 p.m. There will be no public visitation prior to the day of service. Mrs. BROWN's cremated remains will be interred privately in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to Centre St. Baptist Church gratefully acknowledged.

GIBB, William " Bill" John, M.B.
Born September 15 1941, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at St. Michaels Hospital on January 12, 2005. Bill was a devoted and loving husband to Barbara (née LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH) since nineteen years of age. Bill was the proud father of Holly DECKER and her husband Paul DECKER, grandchildren Benjamin and William Heather DYMOND and her husband Bryce DYMOND; and son Hartley GIBB, Jodi PILGRIM and grandchildren Chase and Liam. Bill is survived by Brother David GIBB and sister-in-law Beth and Sheila SANGWINE and brother-in-law Anthony who were not only relatives, but life-long Friends. Bill GIBB was a true family man and put his commitment to family far before himself. Bill was also the loved Uncle and Godfather of The Reverend Geoffrey SANGWINE and respected and admired Uncle of Howard and Leslie SANGWINE. He will be greatly missed by his family but shall have solace in knowing that his family values will live on forever through his wife, children and grandchildren
Bill's full life was spent as a long-time employee and executive at Dominion Food Stores for over 25 years, local entrepreneur and businessman and dedicated member to the Mississauga Rotary Club and devout Member of Credit Valley Golf Club. In 2003 Bill received the Medal of Bravery from the Governor General of Canada for risking his life to save another. For this selfless act he has received two commendations from the Toronto Police Department and the Carnegie Award for Bravery.
Anyone that knew Bill found him to be a man of great loyalty, integrity, honesty and humour whether as a colleague or a friend. Never through life our illness did Bill waiver from his determination and will to overcome obstacles and live a full life. He and his family received so much hope and strength from family, Friends and colleagues who continually buoyed his spirits with love, laughter and support. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, (Hwy. 10 North of Queen Elizabeth Way) on Friday from 5 - 8 pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Saturday January 15, 2005 at 3 pm.

On March 29, 2005, at the age of 85, following a lengthy illness. Predeceased by Joy, his wife of 57 years. Survived by brother, Gord, of Dauphin, Manitoba and son, Craig, daughter-in-law, Marsha, daughter, Cathy, son-in-law, Chris DYMOND, grandchildren, Krista (and her husband David SCHROEDER), Nick, Kara and Danny (Dymond), and great grand_son, James SCHROEDER. Born in 1919 in Dauphin, Manitoba, Ken graduated from the University of Toronto Academy of Dentistry. He served as a Lieutenant in the Dental Corps of the Canadian Armed Forces and practised dentistry in Toronto from 1945 until retiring in 1988. Active in many professional organizations, Ken was a Life-Time Member of both the Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations. In recognition of his long service on a variety of Ontario Dental Association committees (Claim Forms, Investment, Constitution and By-Laws), Ken was awarded the Ontario Dental Association Award of Merit in 1985. Active in the North Toronto Dental Association, he served as Chairman of the Mediations Committee (197477) and Member-at-Large (1972-75). Ken was proud to be a founding member of the Crown and Bridge Study Club of the Academy of Dentistry in 1954 and its President (1960-61). He also served on the Ontario Dental Association Board of Governors (1973-77). An avid golfer, he Summit Golf and 35 years. Ken's was his family and to their well being. was a member of Country Club for greatest pleasure he devoted his life Visitations to be held at the R.S. Bill was the proud father of Holly DECKER and her husband Paul DECKER, grandchildren Benjamin and William; Heather DYMOND and her husband Bryce DYMOND; and son Hartley GIBB, Jodi PILGRIM and grandchildren Chase and Liam. Bill is survived by brother David GIBB and sister-in-law Beth and Sheila SANGWINE and brother-in-law Anthony, who were not only relatives, but life-long Friends. Bill GIBB was a true family man and put his commitment to family far before himself. Bill was also the loved Uncle and Godfather of The Reverend Geoffrey SANGWINE and respected and admired Uncle of Howard and Leslie SANGWINE. He will be greatly missed by his family but shall have solace in knowing that his family values will live on forever through his wife, children and grandchildren. Bill's full life was spent as a long-time employee and executive at Dominion Food Stores for over 25 years, local entrepreneur and businessman and dedicated member to the Mississauga Rotary Club and devout Member of Credit Valley Golf Club. In 2003 Bill received the Medal of Bravery from the Governor General of Canada for risking his life to save another. For this selfless act he has received two commendations from the Toronto Police Department and the Carnegie Award for Bravery. Anyone that knew Bill found him to be a man of great loyalty, integrity, honesty and humour, whether as a colleague or a friend. Never through life or illness did Bill waiver from his determination and will to overcome obstacles and live a full life. He and his family received so much hope and strength from family, Friends and colleagues who continually buoyed his spirits with love, laughter and support. On Sunday, March 6, 2005, Edith peacefully passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Loving wife of the late George Thomas MARTIN (1978) and mother of the late Paul Edmund MARTIN (1957.) Edith is survived by her sister Christina COLGAN of Etobicoke, and her brother-in-law Ben WILCOCK of Stouffville. Predeceased by her sisters Irene (Gordon) DYMOND, Vera COLGAN, Kathleen (John) CONNER, Loretta WILCOCK and her brother James (Jackie) COLGAN. Edith will be fondly remembered by many family members. For many years, Edith was a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society, the Eventide Home, Saint Martin's Church (Anglican), and sat on an Advisory Board for the City of Niagara Falls. Born in Saint Thomas, October 17, 1949, the daughter of Madeline (JONES) SMALL of Shedden and the late Lewis SMALL (1988.) She was a former employee of Canada Post. Beloved partner of Michael DYMUS. Sister of Barbara DOUGHERTY and her partner Nick of St. Catharines, Dave SMALL and his partner Diana of R.R.#7, Saint Thomas, Larry SMALL and his wife Kathy of R.R.#2, Wallacetown, Cathy SANDERS of Shedden, Randy SMALL and his wife Michelle of R.R.#2, Wallacetown, Ron SMALL and his wife Sharon of Strathroy and the late Nancy WHITE/WHYTE (1993.)
