Beloved Grams to Kris (Nancy), Peter (Susan), Maria (Scott),
Nadya, Andrea, Murray (Deb), and Renee. Dear Great-Grams to Kate,
Alex, Blaze, Will, Karl, Rebecca, Sofie, and Eva. Marie was a
founding member of the Markham Unionville Business and Professional
Women, a life member of Unionville and Whitevale United Church
Women, and the first female steward of the Whitevale United Church.
She was predeceased by her husband John. At Marie's request,
there will be no funeral home, visitation or service. A family
celebration of her life will take place in the spring. The family
extends their thanks to the Sara Vista Nursing Centre staff in
Elmvale for their loving care to Marie and to her family. Special
thanks to Sandra, Elaine, and Sheila, and to the entire nursing

2005 at age 46. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife

after a courageous fight with cancer. Lillian, a compassionate
and gentle woman of deep faith, will be greatly missed by her

Lillian was a fine artist and in retirement, after years as an
elementary school teacher in Kenora, painting became her passion.
Known in the Ukrainian community for her watercolours and acrylics,
Lillian exhibited in Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
Parastas was sung Sunday, October 2 at 7: 00 p.m. at St. Joseph's
Ukrainian Catholic Church, Winnipeg with Divine Liturgy and Panahyda
to be celebrated Monday, October 3 at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to
follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
