Dear father of Donna FOOTE and her husband Jack of London, Jerry WRIGHT and his wife Sharon of Corunna and Sandy SHERMAN and her husband Peter of London. Loving grandfather of Jim, Kelly, Scott, Dave, Tom and Jenny and greatgrandfather of Abby, Jenna, Alexandra, Ben, William, Jack, Jaimie, Andie, Destiny and Riley. Dear brother of Ed WRIGHT and his wife Evelyn of Whitby, Len WRIGHT and his wife Betty of Woodstock and Barbara BUCHKO of London. Predeceased by his sisters Ivy EADE and Dorothy HANEY. Since 1979, Daisy was an active member of the Philanthropic and Educational Organization Sisterhood and cherished her many Friendships with her Philanthropic and Educational Organization colleagues. He couldn't have been in better or more loving hands. As much as our hearts ache over the loss of our Dad we are comforted by the fact that he is gone to be with Mom and Chris. Ron was born in Howland Township, Manitoulin Island, son of the late Charles and Ellen EADIE (McMURRAY.) He grew up on a farm near Manitowaning (Budges.) Ron's career took him sailing on the Great Lakes, and he was also employed at Inco and Ontario Hydro. Ron is survived by his brother Leland (Julie) of Brantford, Ontario, brother-in-law Norman SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER of Southampton, Ontario, Russell (Ruth) of West Bay, Ontario, sister-in-law Katherine EADIE of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, brother Dalton (Mary) of Ayr, Ontario and sister Gloria HOULE (Gordon) of Kitchener, Ontario. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his sister Rita SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER and his brothers Harvey EADIE and Floyd EADIE. At London Health Sciences-South Street Campus, on Wednesday, March 9, 2005. Grenville Stow WARD, age 83, of London, formerly of Sarnia, beloved husband of the late Lillian Agnes (NORTHRUP) WARD and dear father of Thomas Charles WARD and his wife Elke of Forest and Grena Susan REED and her husband Tom of Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Malene Susan WILLIAMS, Tina Aase WARD, Erica Lillian VILON, Kristopher William Northrup REID, Erien-Isaac James EADY- WARD, Alexander Grenville Robert WARD, Dean SCHMIDT and Jennifer ROCKWOOD. Dear brother of Audrey SUMMERFIELD and her husband John of Sarnia. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A veteran of World War 2, Mr. WARD served overseas with the Royal Canadian Engineers and was taken prisoner at Dieppe. He was retired from I.B.E.W. Local #530 with over 55 years of service and was a member of Saint John's Anglican Church. Cremation will take place with interment of ashes to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia. A Memorial Service will be held at Saint John's Anglican Church, 332 Devine Street at Margaret, Sarnia, on Sunday, March 13th at 3: 00 p.m. with Father Nick WELLS officiating. The family will receive their Friends at Saint John's Anglican Church on Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation or the Poppy Fund of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #62. Passed away peacefully at Sheridan Villa on Friday, February 25, 2005 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne.
