SUTHERLAND, Frederick J.
Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Tuesday, June 21st, 2005, Frederick J. SUTHERLAND of Perth; (former employee of C.H.M.L. Radio and Stelco, Hamilton, retired from Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Ottawa) in his 89th year. Fred was predeceased by Jean M. (EGLEN) SUTHERLAND; he will be sadly missed by his son Richard SUTHERLAND of Ottawa, his brothers and sisters in the United Kingdom and his Friends. Services are private for the family. CHILDS, Michael Gordon
Mr. Michael Gordon "Mike" CHILDS a life long resident of Wallaceburg passed away suddenly on Monday, February 14, 2005 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 45 years. Mike was the owner of the Oaks Inn in Wallaceburg. He was a past president of Wallaceburg Minor Baseball and past president of the Kinsmen Club of Wallaceburg. He devoted much of his time to minor sports in Wallaceburg. Mike was also involved with many Wallaceburg community events. Loving husband of 21 years to Dianne (O'NEIL) CHILDS. Loving father of Tyler, Adam and Jason. Dear son of Gord and Fran CHILDS and son-in-law of Harry and Grace O'NEIL all of Wallaceburg. Kind brother of Michelle and Barry LAJOIE of Sombra, Mark and Theresa CHILDS of Wallaceburg. Kind brother-in-law of Gary and Janice O'NEIL of Wallaceburg, Shirl and Doug GILLILAND of Glencoe, Trish O'NEIL and her friend Andy BAART of Wallaceburg and Stephen and Kim O'NEIL of British Columbia. Sadly missed by 1 niece and 7 nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and Friends. Predeceased by a sister-in-law Lisa O'NEIL and a brother-in-law Wayne O'NEIL. The late Mike CHILDS rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, Wallaceburg, until Thursday, February 17, 2005 when the funeral mass was celebrated from Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10: 30 a.m. Fr. John JASICA and Fr. John PIRT celebrated the mass and the Life Teen Band offered the music. The readings were done by John VANHECKE, Paul BAERT and John SALISBURY. The gifts were brought to the altar by the Bujaki Family. Doug BABBITT and Harry COURTIS offered eulogy's. The Kinsmen Club formed the honour guard. Flower Bearers were Doug BABBITT and Harry COURTIS. The Pall Bearers were Kim MURRAY, Doug EGLIN, Brian WADSWORTH, Paul BILODEAU, Mike BATEMAN, John SALISBURY, John VANHECKE, Paul BAERT and Randy SMITH. Interment has taken place in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Children's Trust Fund may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Mike CHILDS.

Passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2005, in her 77th year. Lorraine is the daughter of the late Alfred and Irene BOURQUE) MELOCHE. Beloved wife of the late William Hurst MIKEL and Lyle Roy HARPER. Loving mother of William MIKEL and Linda JACOBS. Dear grandmother of Melanie, Andrew and Ryan MIKEL and Chris VERCAUTERAN. Great grandmother of Larissa and Christopher. Sister of Nora EGLIN of Port Lambton, Betty DEHEER of Wallaceburg, Fred MELOCHE of Wallaceburg, Gerald MELOCHE of London and the late Lorenzo, Ely, Glen and Stan MELOCHE and Lillian FULTON, Isabelle GELINA, Mae STERLING, Bertha INGRAM and Edith GRIFFORE. Lorraine will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin) in Wallaceburg from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. The funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Keith MORRISON at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Saturday, September 24 at 10: 30 a.m. The interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. EVANS, Vivian (née PARKES)
Peacefully, on January 18 2005, at the Cambridge Country Manor, in her 98th year. Vivian (née PARKES) and her predeceased husband William George (Garnet) EVANS were the proprietors of the W.G. Evans and Sons Limited in Humber Summit. Dear mother of Dorothy EGLIN, John E. and the late William V. Loved grandmother of eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Agnes JOHNSTON and her husband Ray, and sister-in-law Beatrice EVANS. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home "Woodbridge Chapel", 7776 Kipling Avenue (at Hwy. 7) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Pine Ridge Cemetery.
