Reg was born in Toronto and raised in North York where he attended
Earl Haig Collegiate. As a young man he served in World War 2
with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. He returned home
to build many houses in the North Toronto area with his father
under their company G.W. Embree and Son. After Reg and Mary married,
he joined the Ontario Housing Corporation and worked as a Housing
Inspector for over 20 years. An avid builder and handyman, Reg
built one of the first cottages on Oxtongue Lake where he and
his family enjoyed many a summer vacation. We will always remember
him as a wonderful husband and gentle father who had a quick,
dry sense of humour. The Embree family would like to thank the
staff of K3 East at the Sunnybrook Veterans' Hospital. Special
thanks to Sandy and Mavis, his devoted caregivers. A private
funeral service has been held. All Friends are invited to join
us for a Celebration of Reg's Life at Newtonbrook United Church,

vibrant presence. Val was one of five brothers and sisters, Wilk,
Kay, Jack, and Joyce. Also, she will be greatly missed by John's
family, and her many Friends. A special thank you to all who
spent many hours visiting her, in particular, her friend Dorothy.
Val loved life - she loved golfing, gardening, travelling, bridge,
dancing, reading, and mostly, she loved people. All will miss
her sense of humour, her strength, and her positive outlook on
life. To celebrate Val's life, a Memorial Service will be held
on Saturday, April 23, 12 noon, at Cliffcrest United Church,
1 McCowan Road (corner of McCowan and Kingston Rd.). Lunch will
follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate
donations to honour Val's life. A memorial fund will be set up
in the name "Missions" and all will be given to charity. 'No
