by his wonderful wife Dorothy. Doug will be greatly missed by
his three children, Paul (Jean), Peter and Susan (Cliff), by
his grandchildren, Marc, Karin, David and Clinton, and by his
many Friends. Doug lived a full and rich life. He left school

Rochester. Shortly after leaving the Royal Canadian Air Force
in 1945, Doug joined the Etobicoke Board of Education as Business
Administrator, where he participated in the growth and expansion
of the Board. After his career at the Board and his active involvement
in public service, including the presidency of the Canadian Institute
of Public Administration, Doug moved to the Mulmur Hills where
he and Dorothy soon became an important part of the Creemore
community. Doug died at the Creedan Valley nursing home in Creemore.
The family thanks the staff of the Blue Mountain Manor in Stayner

of family and Friends will be planned for a later date to celebrate
and remember Doug's life. If you wish, you may make a donation
