WALPOLE, Patricia (née EYRE)
Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Lee Manor in Owen Sound, on Wednesday, June 8th, 2005. Patricia WALPOLE (née EYRE,) of Owen Sound and formerly of Wiarton, in her 71st year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Donald WALPOLE and the late Clayton KERR. Much loved mother of Robert (Randy) WALPOLE, of Wiarton, Beth (Rick) WESOLOWSKI, of Kitchener, Howie (Jackie) WALPOLE, of Saint Mary's, Rick WALPOLE, of Owen Sound, Kate (Lyle) KEELING, of Owen Sound, Jim WALPOLE, of Wiarton, Keith (Tammy) WALPOLE, of Owen Sound, Joanne (Tom) THERIAULT, of Cambridge, Pat (Brian) McCARTHY, of Elora, Bill (Penny) KERR, of Chatsworth and Bob (Roxanne) KERR, of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Patricia will be sadly missed by her two brothers, Bill (Helen) EYRE, of Owen Sound and Wayne (Karie) EYRE, of British Columbia; and her two sisters, Irene (Gill) JOLLY, of Owen Sound and Donna (Gerry) ROBERTSON, of Lindsay. Predeceased by her sister, Elaine BROWN. A Funeral Service for Patricia WALPOLE will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 365 - 14th Street West, Owen Sound, on Monday, June 13th, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment in Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Lung Association or the Salvation Army's Temple Chimes or Golden Agers as your expression of sympathy and may be made through the Brian E. Peacefully, at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton, on Wednesday, August 10th, 2005. Alex EYRE, of Wiarton, in his 90th year. son of the late James and Adeline (HOGUE) EYRE. Dear brother of Clara EYRE, of Wiarton. Predeceased by two brothers, Edward and William, and one sister, Mary LONGMIRE. Dear uncle of Grace ROUSE, of Shallow Lake; Doug LONGMIRE, and his wife Marlene, of Ottawa Wayne LONGMIRE, and his wife Vicki, of Hanover; Ruth TONERI, and her husband, Ray, of Owen Sound, and Randy LONGMIRE, of Wiarton. Also survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews. The family will receive Friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton, on Friday evening from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel, on Saturday, August 13th at 2: 00 p.m. Interment Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. Beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn CLAYTON (2004.) Loved father of Linda CLAYTON of Hamilton, Tracy DI_CECCA and her husband David of Hamilton and Dave CLAYTON of Waterdown. Loving grandfather of Niki KERR and her husband Jeff, Scott, Jason and Erin and great-grandfather of Tyler and Sarah. Dear brother of Gail EYRE and her husband Mervin of Barrie. Predeceased by his brothers Steven, Basil and Ross. Surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer, Linda Ann (GIBBS) KNOWLES, at the age of 56, on Sunday, March 6th, 2005. Beloved wife and soul mate of Brian KNOWLES of Strathroy. Loving mother and best friend of Heather and Rob BICE and special nana to Kaitlyn, Taylor and Brendan BICE all of Strathroy. Only daughter of Mary GIBBS and the late Harvey GIBBS of Sarnia. Predeceased by parents-in-law John and Judy KNOWLES, brothers-in-law Bob and Barry KNOWLES all of Sarnia. She will be sadly missed by brother and sisters-in-law Barbara (Lloyd) EYRE, Ruthann KNOWLES and Pat KNOWLES of Sarnia as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7: 00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road, north, (2 blocks north of Oxford), where the memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, March 10th, 2005 at 3: 00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Linda, are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation Cancer Centre or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation of Canada.

Survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by a sister Ethel HARGAN of Toronto and 2 brothers Bill RUSLAND (Carolyn) of Peterborough and George RUSLAND (Midge) of Toronto, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Robert (Bobby) WETHERELL and a brother Jim RUSLAND.
