Sadly mised by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces
and nephews and numerous cousins in Britain. Wilma was born on
September 29, 1923, in Saint Thomas, the daughter of the late William
and Margaret
JACK.
She graduated from S.T.C.I. in 1941 and London
Normal School in 1942. Wilma began her teaching career at Brayne's,
married Arnold in 1943 and travelled with him the army for one
year. She continued her career at Myrtle St. School and Orwell
and in 1952 started teaching at Port Stanley Public School. She
retired in 1978 after 30 years of teaching, 26 years in Port
Stanley. She was a member of the R.T.O. and the R.W.T.O. She
was a life member of Alma St. Presbyterian Church until it closed
and she transferred to Saint John's Presbyterian Church, Port Stanley.
Resting at Williams Funeral Home where funeral service will be
held Friday at 1: 00 p.m. Reverend Tom
JEFFERY officiating. Interment
to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Saint John's Presbyterian
