LANGFORD, Laurence T.A. "Laurie"
At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Wednesday, February 16, 2005. Laurence T.A. "Laurie" LANGFORD of London in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Reverend Annie P. (GRAHAM) LANGFORD. Brother of Helen PECK. Dear uncle of Dr. Bill TEW and his wife Ann. Also loved by his great-niece Linda MARA and her husband Steven, his great-nephew Dr. Michael TEW and his wife Barbara and David HYSEN a very close friend who has been like a son. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Saturday, February 19th at 1: 30 p.m. with Reverend Farquhar MacKINNON of Metropolitan United Church officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Canadian National Institute for the Blind London Chapter, 749 Baseline Rd. E., London, Ontario, N6C 2R6. Peacefully at McCormick Home, London, Ontario on Sunday, August 7, 2005, Marion Mary Anderson (KING) LAVERY of London in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Cree LAVERY (1976.) Dear mother of David K. LAVERY and his wife Barbara of London and Annie McQUADE and her late husband Fred of California. Sister of the late David KING. Sister-in-law of Mrs. Gertrude KING of London. Loving grandmother of Deborah and David HYSEN, Annette and Jim TORRANCE, Dan and Marlene LAVERY, Helen and Jack STEEL, Patricia and Ian REDMAN, Marion and Tony STORTI and families. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, August 8th at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London (433-5184), where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, August 9th at 1 p.m. with Pastor Robert WILSON officiating. HYSEN, Edwin
Peacefully at his home, on September 29, 2005, surrounded by family, Edwin HYSEN in his 78th year. Edwin will be especially missed by his daughters Pamela HANDLEMAN, Jayne HYSEN, and his son Peter, and daughter-in-law Kathy, grandchildren Rowland and Gregory HYSEN and Ivy HANDLEMAN, son-in-law Paul HANDLEMAN, and former wife Joan TURNBULL. Predeceased by his twin brother Richard, mother Rhoda PEAK, father Shaquier HYSEN and grand_son Peter HYSEN- BURDETTE. Ed was a musician and performed locally for many years. He played oboe and English horn with the London Symphony Orchestra (now "Orchestra London"). He was organist/ choir director at Robinson Memorial United Church for over thirty years, and founder of Hysen Music Ltd., a London based national sheet music and book distributor. For the last few years he enjoyed performing chamber music with many good Friends. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. WONG and the nursing staff of the University Hospital palliative care unit, Dr. DINGLE at the London Regional Cancer Clinic, as well as the nurses of St. Elizabeth for keeping him comfortable in his final days. A memorial service to be held at The Church of Epiphany, 11 Briscoe Street W., on Monday October 3 at 2: 00 p.m. There will be a reception after the memorial.

Carl K. PARK, peacefully at his residence on Saturday, March 5, 2005, in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Catherine. Dear brother of Stewart PARK, Jeanne HYSLOP, and the late Suzanne SCRATCH. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins, the Norquay family, his brothers of the Delta Alpha Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, and his church family. A graduate of George Brown College (Plastics Technician) and University of Western Ontario in Computer Science and Mathematics (B.A., 1985), he was an avid motorcyclist and was 1963 Ontario Men's Downhill Ski Champion. Friends may call during the hour preceding a memorial service which will be conducted at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond on Saturday, March 12 at 3: 30 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to the London Food Bank, 926 Leathorne Street, London, Ontario N5Z 3M5 would be gratefully acknowledged.

At her residence on Thursday March 17, 2005. Clara M. HAMILTON (née EFFINGHAM) of Woodingford Lodge and formerly of Altadore Cres., Woodstock, three days short of her 102nd birthday. Beloved wife of the late Arthur "Art" F. HAMILTON (1987.) Dear mother of Bill HAMILTON and his wife Marg of Woodstock and Mary HYSLOP and her husband Gerry of Bowmanville. Loved grandmother of Alison, Matthew, Sarah, Christine (Roger), Julie (Paul) and Sandra and great grandmother of Riley. Dear sister-in-law of Suzanne EFFINGHAM of Kitchener and special aunt of Eleanor NOBLE of Elmira. Predeceased by her sister Willa and by her brother Harold. Clara was the last surviving member of her own family.
Clara was very involved in past years with the family business of "A.F. Hamilton Ltd.", was a longtime member of the New St. Paul's Anglican Church A.C.W. and was a past participant of the "We Sew Club". Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Friday 2: 30-4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday March 19, 2005 at 4: 00 pm with The Venerable James DUGAN officiating. Peacefully on Tuesday, December 6th, 2005 at the Harold and Grace Baker Centre, Toronto, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Gerald Borden NICHOLS. Mother of Judith Ann of Lethbridge, Alberta, and the late Baby Douglas (1950). Sister of the late Emery HYSON of Indian Point, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her parents David and Ida HYSON of Indian Point, Nova Scotia. Marjorie graduated in Nursing from The Victoria General Hospital in Halifax following which she served at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. She married Gerald in 1945 and together they moved to Toronto in 1946. Marjorie was a member of the Registered Nurses Association of Canada, The Women's Canadian Club, and active in Mount Dennis United Church. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (2 stoplights west of Yonge St.) on Saturday, December 10th, 2005 at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take in Nova Scotia in the Spring of 2006. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
