On March 23, at the Humber River Regional Hospital (Finch Avenue
site,) after a brief illness. David Noël Isserlis
IBBETSON was
born on September 24, 1933 in Wallington, England. He attended
one of London's prestigious post-secondary schools from which
he graduated at the top of his class. During his college days
he joined the Special Air Service Regiment and the Artists Rifle
Association and continued his membership in them after coming
to Canada in February, 1969. He was a statistician and worked
in that profession until his retirement. He was also an active
member of Mensa. He was an an avid reader and was actively interested
in abroad range of topics and disciplines. Because his only living
relatives are all in England, there was no funeral service. Members
of the Woodsworth Housing Co- operative, where he resided for
the past 20 years, will hold a memorial meeting to honour his
life and work on Sunday, May 15, starting at 2: 00 p.m. in the
Co-op's Penthouse at 133 Wilton Street (one block east and south
of the St. Lawrence Market), to which all who knew him and wish
to join in honouring him are invited. Donations in David's memory

Gordon
After a courageous battle with cancer died peacefully Tuesday,
April 19, 2005 at York Central Hospital. He will be dearly missed
by his loving wife Mary Anne, daughter Michelle and her fiance
Greg JONES.
Gordon will be fondly remembered by his family (Bernice
and Peter IBBOTSON and family, Barbara
CROWDER and family, Margaret,
Victor and the late Robert Lawrence and families). In honouring
Gordon's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. In lieu
of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be
appreciated. Although he has gone to meet those who left before
him, he was too dearly loved to ever be forgotten.
