Tom passed away on Friday, December 2, 2005, in Peterborough,
after a courageous two year struggle with leukemia. Loved son
of Hatsue and the late Morio, and brother to Stan. A loving and
devoted husband to Sachi, and caring father to Kim (Tim), Janine
(Stephen), Marion (Glenn), Andrea and Shari (Greg). Loving Grandpa
to Keeley, Mariel, Sarah, Adam, Alex, Thomas and Kieran. The
family is grateful to the Princess Margaret Hospital, Dr. Richard
WELLS (now at Sunnybrook,) Dr. Mark
MINDEN, the staff on 15A
and 15B, and the transfusion unit, for their compassion, caring
and understanding. Thanks also to the staff at the Palliative
Care Unit at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. The ongoing
support the family received from Friends was a source of strength,
especially in the past few months. A gathering to remember Tom
will be held on Monday, December 5th at 1: 30 p.m., at the Peterborough
Golf and Country Club (1030 Armour Rd.). Dress is casual. No flowers
please. In Tom's memory, the family would appreciate donations
to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, Leukemia Research
Fund (610 University Ave., Toronto, Ontario, M5G 2M9), or online

the Saunders family announce the passing of a truly gentle man
at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, on Sunday, April 17,
2005, in his 88th year. Mason Andrew "Bud"
SAUNDERS was born
in Toronto on September 27, 1917. Bud leaves his beloved wife
Margaret "
Peg" of 61 years; his daughter Gail (Mrs. Jack
HOLLIDAY)
of St. Albert, Alberta; and his son Paul of Coboconk. Predeceased
by his sister Dolly

Bud and his family were proud of his World War 2 Royal
Canadian Air Force service at several training bases across Canada,
and operationally across Britain, Holland, Belgium and Germany.
