Beloved wife of the late Frederick DEZIEL (1980.) Suddenly, after a tragic accident at Oneida Settlement and a brief time at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, on Sunday, August 21st, 2005, Franklin J. IRELAND of the Oneida Settlement, in his 18th year. Beloved son of Natalie SNAKE and Hoby IRELAND. Survived by brothers Mathew, Jordan and Hoby Jr. and by sister Jacklyn. Also survived by grandparents Cheryl SNAKE, Eleanor JEAN and Ron DOXTATOR. Predeceased by grandfathers Emeric HENDRICK and Robert GREEN. JEFFERSON, Mary (née NEILD)
Mary, aged 96, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2005, at the Fulford Residence, Montreal.
She was predeceased by her husband, C.E. JEFFERSON (Jeff,) her brother Ward NEILD and his wife Margaret, and her parents Herb and Ida NEILD.
She is survived by her nephew, Bob NEILD and her cousins David KITCHEN and his wife Margot, Peter KITCHEN and his wife Barbara and their extended families, all of whom loved Mary like a mother.
Mary was born in 1909 in Stratford, Ontario. She attended Macdonald College for a homemaker's course before entering the Royal Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, from which she graduated in 1933. Her early career coincided with Norman BETHUNE's period of service at the hospital. She did private duty nursing for many years, and returned to nurse at the Ross Pavilion of the Royal Victoria Hospital after the death of her husband. She enjoyed a long and distinguished career and was much loved by her patients and staff.
Mary kept in touch with a wide circle of nursing colleagues until the end, and will be fondly remembered by many Friends, especially Hazel HARRINGTON, Peggy JEAN and Des THOMAS, Barbara and Alan GRIEG, as well as other Royal Victoria Hospital alumni.
Mary will always be remembered for her great sense of fun. She embraced life and everyone she met. Mary will be so greatly missed but we know she is at peace and with the love of her life, Jeff.
The family's heartfelt thanks go to the Fulford Residence and their wonderful staff for being so loving and caring of Mary in the last years of her life.

Loving Mom of Kate and her husband David ELLERBY, Peter and his wife Lisa and Marc. Devoted Grandma of Talon, Olivia, Benjamin, Mikaela and Bronwyn. Dear sister of Peter MORRIS and his wife Sian, James MORRIS and her sister Ann and her husband Brian WAWRYKOW. Elaine was 'Tanteski' to her several nieces, nephews and Friends. Elaine was a caring daughter of Teresa and the late Austin MORRIS. She will be missed by her many many Friends across the country. Passed away peacefully in the evening on June 7, 2005 at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Science Centre in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Patricia (née KINNEAR.) Loving father of Louise JEANETTE. John will also be sadly missed by his brothers Wilfred, Norman and his sisters Ruth JOEL and the late Elizabeth TRAUT. John served overseas from May 1941 to October 1943. He and Patricia were married on October 8, 1943. He entered into Osgoode Hall and received his law degree in 1958. When John retired he was corporate council for Falconbridge Nickel Mines. The family wish to thank all the staff of K2C, veteran's wing of Sunnybrook Hospital. Frederick Albert JEAVONS, Dorchester, Ontario, passed away January 31, 2005 at the London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus after a lengthy illness. He was in his 77th year. Survived by his wife Betty (Rev. Elizabeth) and their children, Fred and Joy of Kitchener, Nancy and Chris of Waterloo, Rob and Yvonne of Dorchester. Grandpa to James, Christopher, Viki, Jeremy, Jonathan, Jamie, Joshua, Matthew, Liese, Natasha, Jerusha, Alyssa, Andrew and great-grand_son Tori-Andrew. Predeceased by two sons, Timothy and John.
