brief illness in Nanaimo, British Columbia on March 4, 2005.
Zbigniew (Steve) will be lovingly missed by his wife Genevieve
son Richard, brother Lutek, sisters Irene and Maria, sister-in-law
Frances Lada, granddaughter Kimberly, great-granddaughters, nephews
and nieces. Services at Church of the Ascension, Parksville,

the level of captain. He saved many lives along the way while

his sudden death in his 54th year on Thursday, April 21, 2005
at Credit Valley Hospital. He leaves behind his beloved daughter
Aurora, father Gordon (Pat), brother Dave (Deb), sister Peg (Fred),
nieces and nephews; Becky (Jamie), Chris, Colin, Dan, Ryan, Katie
and Ian, and many Friends. Predeceased by his mother Margaret
and brother Tim. Brian was an avid outdoorsman, intellectual
and righteous man. He was a member of the Toronto Caving Club,
stagehand for Saint Annes Gilbert and Sullivan Society and loved
to fly, in actuality and on his flight simulator. Cremation has
taken place. A celebration of Brian's life will be announced
