Born and raised in Stratford, Ontario, the son of John D. and Gladys G. COOKSON. Brother to Jack of Calabogie, Ontario, the late Ruth POGUE of Vandorf, Ontario, and the late Gwen ODBERT of Saint Marys, Ontario.
Following cremation, there will be a private family funeral and interment in Port Carling, Ontario.

McCLUSKEY, Arthur Michael
Born December 19th, 1925, Toronto. After a long battle with Alzheimer's disease on Tuesday, October 11th, 2005. Was a Veteran of World War 2 "Dems" Naval Unit. Arthur was a talented landscape artist featuring the Humber River and train stations, of which steam trains were his passion. He had a wonderful sense of humour! Predeceased by his wife Madlyn (née HURST) in 1971, his daughter Jill Anne in 1974, and his second wife Frances Evelyn (née MacNEIL) in May 2005. Survived by his daughter Maureen (Mike BERRY) and son Michael (Lesley PARR) and Evelyn's family. Grandfather of Tara and Stephanie KLIMEZ. Brother of Charles and Helen, predeceased by sister Ada and brother Victor. The funeral service will be held at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main Street South (Hwy. 10), Brampton, 905-451-2124 on Friday, October 14th, 2005 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Weston. Arthur faced many tragic events in his lifetime and his spiritual strength helped carry him through. Before his residency there, he was a ready volunteer during his wife Evelyn's stay at Peel Manor in Brampton. Dear brother of Irma EVERTS of Hagersville and dear brother-in-law of Jean and her husband Emmett HEALY of Saint Mary's and Helen NEAR of Stratford. Bill was born in Haldimand County on March 10, 1922, the son of the late William and Alberta KLINE. He was a retired Carpenter. MEADOWS, Don
The family of Don MEADOWS regretfully announces his passing on September 14, 2005 at the age of 82. Don died peacefully at Listowel Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Cayuga, Ontario on July 2, 1923. He was the eldest of 3 children of the late Howard Arthur Vincent MEADOWS and Frieda Kathryn (KLINE). His early work in radio became a life long passion beginning at CKOC Hamilton in the late forties until his recent commercial work at CKNX in Wingham. He married Patricia (MARSHALL) in 1947 relocating from Simcoe to London where his family grew to three children. There he was involved in several business ventures including radio sales, dry cleaning, tour boat rentals and corporate sales. Eventually Don and Pat moved to Listowel where Don was Sales Manager for Spinrite Yarns. He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Listowel for many years, a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Utilities Commission and an enthusiastic promoter of both business and charitable activities. He was named Listowel's Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year in 1992. As a member of the Royal Canadian Regiment Reserves he became the social convener of the group of members that came to be known as Junior Officers Protective Association. For over 40 years, the Junior Officers Protective Association husbands and wives continued their extraordinary Friendships, getting together several times a year for bridge and other enjoyable events. Listowel has also provided many Friendships. Over the years Don was also a devoted member of the Progressive Conservative Party, an avid tennis player and golfer. In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by his sister Lois and his daughter Lee Anne. He is survived by Pat, his loving wife of 58 years, his son David (Susan POTTS,) daughter Merry Lou (Joe CHANG,) grand_son Jason MEADOWS, sister Betty ADAM/ADAMS, sister-in-law Margaret (MARSHALL) ELLIOT/ELLIOTT (Jack ELLIOT/ELLIOTT,) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive visitors at the Simpson Funeral Home at 285 Elizabeth Street, Listowel (519-291-4424) on Friday September 16, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church, Listowel on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 2: 00 pm with Reverend Bob LEWIS officiating. In lieu of flowers donations were made to the Cancer Society and First Baptist Church, Listowel in Don's memory.

Loving wife of Witold, devoted mother of Sophie, Julia and Matthew. Daughter of Jean SPENCE and the late George SPENCE. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, Paul SPENCE and his wife Judy, Mark SPENCE and his wife Jean and their families.
Laura was born on March 30, 1952 and raised in the Beaches (Toronto). At the age of 22, she became a flight attendant and enjoyed her 30-year flying career to the fullest. Laura will be remembered for her humour, great style and enduring love. She will be sorely missed by her family and Friends. Passed away peacefully at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on December 13, 2005. Only child of the late Mable KLINHANCE (née WEDEMIRE) and the late Theodore KLINHANCE. Beloved husband of Mavis (nee KAMEKA) for 62 years. Dearest father of Jean (Errol MYERS,) Kay (Gerry THERIAULT,) Clare (Kenneth BROWN) and Grace. Loving grandfather of Erika MYERS and Christophe and Justine THERIAULT. Brother-in-law of Charles KAMEKA (Edna) of Texas, Eric KAMEKA (Agnes) of Oakville, and Mary KAMEKA of Jamaica. Will also be missed by many nephews, nieces, relatives and Friends. The family will receive Friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.) on Thursday, December 15th from 7-9 p.m., and Friday, December 16th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 17 at 10: 00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 265 Alton Towers Circle, Scarborough (south of Steeles Ave., west off McCowan Rd.) Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill. Peacefully at Versa Care on Friday, May 13, 2005. Veronica, in her 88th year. Wife of the late Clement. Dear mother of Gerald and his wife Peggy of Toronto, June DEIGHTON and Linda KOZICKY, both of Calgary. Predeceased by her son Theodore. Veronica is survived by her sister Cecilia KLINOWSKI. Grandmother of David, Paul and his wife Vanita, and Lisa of Toronto, and David and Terri of Calgary, and all her great-grandchildren. Special thanks to all the staff at Versa Care for their tender care of our mother for the last three years. At Veronica's request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Suddenly on April 16, 2005, at Scarborough General Hospital, Toronto, Ontario at the age of 91. Predeceased by her beloved husband Leslie ELLIS (1972) and her sister Bernice Marion KLINTWORTH (1991). Ethel and her husband Leslie founded the Ellis Florist business on Kingston Rd. in West Hill. Ethel and Les were very involved in their community. She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, relatives and Friends. LAMBE, Colleen " Connie" Winona (née BICKELL)
On Wednesday, August 10, 2005, surrounded by the love of her family, Colleen (Connie) passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, and will be forever missed by her husband Ron, and their children Sue and Nick KLIP; Jeff and Kim LAMBE; and Mike and Jenny LAMBE. A special grandmother, Connie will be terribly missed and forever remembered by her pride and joy: Jason (Jen), Amanda and Jenny KLIP and Joshua and Christopher LAMBE. It brings the family great comfort to know Connie has been reunited with her parents Ken and Irene BICKELL and her sister Elizabeth PITTMAN. Truly one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, Connie will also be missed by her many Friends from Milton, Burlington, St. Catharines and Toronto. Special thanks to the nursing staff of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital (2 North) and to Halton Region Emergency Medical Services for their outstanding care and support during this difficult time. Dear father of Harry SCHIPPER and wife Grace of Eden, James SCHIPPER of London, Hilda Vander KLIPPE and husband Bill of Smithville, Rudolf SCHIPPER and wife Sharon of Aylmer, Gerald SCHIPPER and wife Grace of Aylmer and Andy SCHIPPER of Toronto. Loving grandfather to Erica, Laura, Darryl, Anita, Nathan, Stephen and wife Maria, Lisa, Alydia, Derek, Alicia, Randy, Emilee, Leslie, Destiny, Henri, Marenda, Gerard and Alyssa. Also survived by brothers Geert and Haijo SCHIPPER, sisters Tiny HAAN and Gina DAM all of the Netherlands and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a grand_son Daniel and a brother Ginus SCHIPPER.
Born in Borger, The Netherlands on June 27, 1923. Henry was a dairy farmer in Brazil from 1953-1973 and in Aylmer since 1973. He was a member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. The Funeral Service will be at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church (South Street West at Caverly Rd.) on Friday February 4, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Donations to the Bible League or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Loving sister of Denise SUTHERLAND (John) and Martine EMERY (John.) She leaves behind her five beloved nephews; Michael, Gregory and Stephen SUTHERLAND and Joseph and Frank EMERY, who in her eyes the sun rose and shone on. The loss of their aunt Lise leaves a void that can never be filled. Lise will be remembered by her many dear Friends, especially John KLIS her best friend for 24 years. Predeceased by her only niece, Laura SUTHERLAND in infancy. Her first love was golf, but her work was a close second. She very much enjoyed her work at Toronto-Dominion Bank and appreciated all of her Friends and colleagues there.
