alto and soprano sax and guitar. He was a drummer in the rock
band Abbott. Luke was entering Grade 10 at Oakwood Collegiate.
He played forward for the Parkdale Flames and Amesbury Avalanche
hockey teams, pitched for the Tigers at Christie Pits and enjoyed
soccer, skateboarding, boxing, chess and his dog Bella. Luke
felt a deep affinity to Buddhism and philosophy and was Bar Mitzvahed
on May 22, 2004 at the Beaches Hebrew Institute. Luke was a steady
shining presence in our lives, his tragic accident is a wrenching
loss to an entire community.
