GUNKEL of Bremen,
orphaned at eleven, adopted into the Landmark family of Oslo,
Trudi divided her early years between Norway and Germany. In
Norway, skiing, Trudi met Fred
MINSOS, a Canadian national of
Norwegian extraction. They married, and in 1947, the A.O. Minsos
family moved to Edmonton, where Dr.
MINSOS practiced architecture
until his retirement in 1975. Dr.
MINSOS passed away August 1,
1990. Musician, equestrian into her late 60's, community supporter,
Oma loved Edmonton, but most of all, she loved her family. She
leaves to celebrate her life, and mourn her passing, daughter
Turid OLAFSON of Denman Island, her son Ove
MINSOS of Edmonton,

her Bergen family, her Bremen family and her west-coast family.
Special thanks go to her wonderful caregivers, and her dear Friends
at the Good Samaritan Dr. Gerald Zetter Centre. A private memorial
service has been held.

GIRDHAR on Monday,
March 21, 2005. Genuine, principled, and strong-willed, she went
out of her way to help others regardless of family association,
and fought for justice even when it meant sacrificing herself.
She was deeply spiritual and consecrated her actions to the divine
light. Her tireless fight against cancer ended at the age of
55. She was the beloved wife of Ravi

Peacefully, on Thursday, March 3, 2005, at St. Michael's Hospital,
in her 73rd year, following a lengthy and courageous struggle
with heart disease. Beloved wife of Sarwan

of Paul (Susan) and Michael (Beverley), and dear "Oma" to Scarlett,
Clifton, Sean, and Madeline. Survived by brother Helmut (Elizabeth)
and sister Agathe of Germany. Fondly missed by many nieces, nephews,
cousins and Friends. The family is grateful to have been blessed
with 13 precious years with Irene since her first heart attack
in 1992. Many thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Michael's
who have taken such good care of her over the years, especially
