OLBERT, Brigitte
After a courageous 10 year battle with cancer at the Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville on Monday, May 16, 2005, in her 70th year. Brigitte, dearly beloved wife of Dieter for 49 years. She was a loving mother of Tina and her husband Rob and Renée and her partner Marlo. Her final weeks were made brighter with the arrival of her first granddaughter, Olivia Brigitte. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel" 52 Main St. South, Brampton on Thursday, May 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 66A Main St. South, Brampton on Friday, May 20th at 12 noon. A private family interment will follow. Donations made to the Headwaters Health Care Centre or the Hospital for Sick Children would be greatly appreciated by the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at brigitte.olbert@wardfh.com

On October 2, 2005 Lois (CRAIG) Lewis, formerly of London, in her 93rd year, widow of Thomas H. LEWIS (1972,) mother of Helen (Guenther) WELLNHOFER, Barrie, Mary OLBEY (Alexander MARTINIUK), Alberta Beach, Alberta and the late Jim LEWIS, London; Grandmother of Anne (Euan MARS) and Peter WELLNHOFER and Erika and Jonny OLBEY; Greatgrandmother of Griffin MARS. Longtime member of the London Branch of the Canadian Federation of University Women's Club. A celebration of Lois' life will take place at the Tubman Funeral Home, Kars, Ontario on Wednesday, October 12, at 2: 00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario L4M 1L4, In lieu of flowers, donations to the Building Fund of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Long Term Care Home in Barrie, Lois' home for the past few years would be appreciated.
