SHAMLEY, Delbert George
At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, March 12, 2005, Delbert George SHAMLEY of Wardsville in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Marion Ethel (THORNTON) SHAMLEY (2001.) Loving father and friend of Frances Ann and John Wood and Mary Elizabeth. Dear brother of Betty and her husband Donald J. MOFATT and brother-in-law of Edna SHAMLEY and Margaret THORNTON and uncle of Richard MOFFATT, Bradley MOFFATT, Terri McINTOSH, Gary SHAMLEY, Patricia YANCY, Chuck SHAMLEY and their families, Margaret Ann ONIS, Mary Lynn SMITH and Rosemary EARL. Predeceased by 1 brother Gordon Charles SHAMLEY and 1 sister, Mildred SHAMLEY.
Delbert served with the special radar investigations unit of the Royal Air Force from 1942-1945 being involved with 24 missions over Germany. He was a proud Legion member. Del was a kind and gentle man who lived his life with honesty and integrity, grit, insight and quiet reflection, and with optimism. Even in his later years while dealing with cancer, he lived his life with hope. The family will receive relatives and Friends at Christ Church, Newbury on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at Christ Church on Wednesday, March 16 at 1: 30 p.m. Reverend Christine CRAWFORD officiating. Cremation with interment of ashes at Christ Church Cemetery, Port Stanley. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund, Mount Brydges Animal Clinic, or South Ridge Animal Clinic. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 219 will conduct at service at Christ Church, Newbury on Tuesday evening at 7: 00p.m. Arrangements by Van Heck Funeral Home, Glencoe 287-2831

Loving grandma of Maria, Vanessa, and Linda. Great-grandma of 5. Resting at the Paul O'Conner Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Warden and Pharmacy) from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Service on Monday morning at 9: 30 a.m. in Saint John's Greek Orthodox Church (Warden, south of Ellesmere). Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, January 16th, 2005, David Merlin CLARK of London, in his 57th year. Beloved son of Merlin J. (Helen) CLARK and the late Phyllis CLARK (1982.) Dear brother of Karen (Jim) RYAN, Wendy (Wayne) LOCKYER, Bruce (Dianna) CLARK, Laverne (Brenda) CLARK, Laura (Roc) WEIGL, Jeff (Sharon) CLARK and Charlene (Tony) ONISKO. Step-brother of Kevin (Pam) MITCHELL and Craig (Bernie) MITCHELL. Survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mt.
