NEWALL, David Christopher
Suddenly, at the St. Joseph's Hospital, with his family by his side, on August 4, 2005, in his 53rd year. David, much loved son of Agnes (Nancy) and the late John (Jackie) NEWALL (1984.) Predeceased by his brother Michael (1994). Uncle Dave will be sadly missed by his nieces Kristin and Holli. Cherished nephew of Tina and Hugh OPRAY, Jean and the late George PRINGLE, special God-son to Isabel BEATTIE, and will be fondly remembered by his many Friends and relatives. Friends will be received at the Sherrin Funeral Home, 873 Kingston Road (west of Victoria Park Ave.), Toronto (416-698-2861) on Sunday, August 7, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Monday, August 8, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.

LEMAK, Steve
Mr. Steve LEMAK of Wallaceburg passed away on Monday, February 21, 2005 at the "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 82. Steve was born in Hungary and was a son of the late Steve and Flora LEMAK. He came to Canada in 1937 and settled in Wallaceburg where he worked all of his life. He retired as the Assembly Manager for North American Plastics in Wallaceburg. Steve enjoyed making wine, spending time in his garden and his yard was his pride and joy. Beloved husband of 60 years to Margaret (VARGA) LEMAK. Loving father and father-in-law of Susan and Jeff WILLIAMS of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of April WILLIAMS of Chatham. Kind brother of Mary and the late Steve PALOCZ of Wallaceburg and Jim and Janet LEMAK of Chatham. Kind brother-in-law of Rose and Mike O'MARA of Chatham, Helen and the late John PETER of Harrow, and the late Elizabeth OPRE. Special uncle to John OPRE and Mike OPRE both of Brantford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his cat Daisy. Visitation will be held at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, in Wallaceburg, on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Steve LEMAK.

Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, in Wallaceburg, until Thursday, February 24, 2005 when the funeral service was held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. Pall Bearers were: Jeff WILLIAMS, Mike O'MARA, Mike OPRE, Steve HENRY, Chris ELVERS and John DUNN. Honourary Pall Bearers were Charlie MORASICS, Peter WALKER and Rudy UDZBINAC. Flower Bearers were April WILLIAMS, Tammy DUNN, Rose O'MARA, Irene VAN MENSEL and John OPRE. Interment has taken place in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance "Sydenham Campus" Foundation may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Steve LEMAK.

Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2005, in his 84th year and surrounded by his family at Bridgepoint Health Centre. Beloved husband of Georgeta (PRICOP.) Father-in-law to Elisabet and Robert PANKO and John PRICOP, granddad to David, Andrew, Brigette and Curtis. He will be deeply missed by his son Ernest OPREA and daughter-in-law Angela. George will also be remembered by many of his longtime Friends from St. George Romanian Orthodox Church in Toronto and his relatives and Friends in Romania. The family will receive Friends at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. (south of Wellesley) on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice will be appreciated.
