Predeceased by his father Francis T.J. SWEENEY, his step-mother Mary DOHERTY and his half brother Michael. Survived by his aunt E. Passed away on the morning of June 17th 2005 peacefully after an incident of coronary arrest surrounded by his family. Cherished husband of Rosemary Anne and father of Martha (Doug), Michael (Rachel), Christopher (Penny), Cynthia, Joseph (Leisa). Granddaughters Oona, Clara and Narah. Honored grandfather to Brandon (Sandra), Devon and Nyomi. He was predeceased by his brother Richard and his sister Clara Barbara and his parents Joseph and Doris SMITH. Eric was born in Montreal in 1926 and attended Lower Canada College and McGill University. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy but never saw service as the war ended. He married Rosemary Anne O'REILLY in 1953 and began working for Ronalds Printing, later becoming Vice President (sales) of Ronalds-Federated Inc. which became British Columbia Publitech. An avid yachtsman he was Commodore of the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club from 1967 to 1969 and later volunteered as an instructor with the Montreal and Toronto Power Squadrons. He was transferred to Toronto in 1985 and retired to Kingston in 1989. He served on the Board of the Kingston Maritime Museum and the Kingston General Hospital Foundation, taught computer skills to seniors and volunteered his time enthusiastically. The family's heartfelt thanks go to the Intensive Care Unit of the Kingston General Hospital. The family will recieve Friends at the Robert J. After suffering a sudden stroke, Ron was given a magnificent send off, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, October 22nd, 2005 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at 68 years of age. Beloved husband of Glo (née O'REILLY- MacDONALD.) Loving father of Rick, Michael (Richard,) Karen (Marc) LAROUCHE, Heather (George) HAMBROCK, Dawn (Steve) GRUNDY, David (Linda) MacDONALD and Johnny (Angela) MacDONALD. Cherished Poppy of Jennifer HUTCHEON, Sarah and Daniel SWICK, Noelle (Adam) KLASSEN, Devin MILLEN, Dayna and Emma HAMBROCK, Ashley, Tim and Montana SNELL, Stephanie, Chris and Mark GRUNDY, Nadine and Heather MacDONALD, Jim ATKINS, Cameron, Megan and Kali MacDONALD and great grand poppy to Ryder KLASSEN. Dear brother of Harry (Jean,) (AlJoan,) Manny (Ellie,) Bert (Glenda), Shirley (Ed) Gilroy and Bruce (Colleen). Brother-in-law of Ede. Predeceased by his brother Clarence. Ron will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family, Friends and loyal companion Desi. Ron served with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a technical engineer. He was well respected during his years with CTV and Global prior to becoming an owner operator of Palette Productions in Toronto. Since his retirement he was an active member of St. Catharines Curling Club, Rolling Meadows Golf Club and The Grantham Optimist Club. Ron is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines where a service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday at 11: 30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Entered into rest at Frost Manor in Lindsay on Sunday, December 4, 2005. Anna O'REILLY, in her 94th year, was the beloved wife of the late Basil MURPHY. Dear mother of Fergus and his wife Rita of Sarnia, Eileen and her husband Harold MURPHY of Bobcaygeon, Sheila and her husband Don CORNEIL of Little Britain, Rita and her husband Richard WOODLEY of Oshawa and the late Pat, and his wife Susan of Lindsay. Fondly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 40 Russell Street East, Lindsay on Wednesday, December 7th at 11: 00 a.m. Interment at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Lindsay. On Wednesday, December 14, 2005, we said goodbye to our loving Mother, Nanny, Gran Nanny and a special lady. Cherished Mother to Debby and her husband Dale, Brenda and her husband John, Barb and her husband Mark and Brad and his wife Mary Ann. Treasured Nanny to Nicole BOUCK, Christine O'REILLY and her husband Mike, Jason and Jeffery CAMPANA and Alexa SCHERBAK. Adored Gran Nanny to Morgan O'REILLY. Predeceased by her sisters Adeline and Violet. Evelyn was a longtime member of Scarboro Golf and Country Club. She was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs Fan though thick and thin. "Go Leafs Go - You Bums!" Her family will always remember her unselfish love, support and steadfast encouragement. Beloved wife of the late Jack "Father" WILCOX. Dear mother of John WILCOX and his wife Vicki, Judy McFARLEN and her husband Brydon, and Jill WILCOX and her husband Tom BOGART all of London. Dear sister of Helen SCHWOOB of Kitchener. Predeceased by her mother Lillian KILGOUR. Loving grandmother of Dax and his partner Chilo, Kara and her partner Tim, Lauren and her partner Joe, Tori, Alex and Lauchlin. Great grandmother to Brandon. Special friend of Mac and Nellie HAIG. Audrey devoted her life to her family. She loved her family get-togethers and was an avid Blue Jays fan. The family would like to give special thanks to Bev LEWIS for all her kindness and support.
