Peacefully at the Wildwood Care Centre, Saint Marys on Sunday, June 26, 2005, George D. CHAMBERS formerly of Water Street South, Saint Marys in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Thelma (JAMES) CHAMBERS. Dear father of Norman CHAMBERS of London, Edwin and Lynda CHAMBERS of Guelph, Kelvin and Brenda CHAMBERS, Diana and David YOUNGSON all of Saint Marys. Proud grandfather of David, Tammy, Andrea, Michelle, Kevin, Michael and Nicole and sadly missed by 6 greatgrandchildren. Dear brother of Vina OTIS of Woodstock, Ed and Hazel KNIGHTS of Mt. Forest, Janette and Ed SEARS of Barrie. Dear son-in-law of Irene JAMES of Toronto. Resting at the L.A. Ball Funeral Chapel, 7 Water Street North, Saint Marys on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 1.30 p.m. with Pastor Paul VAN KESTEREN officiating. Cremation to follow. In his memory donations to the Alzheimer Society or the activity fund of Wildwood Care Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

JONES, Shirley Ruth
Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer with loving family beside her at the Woodstock General Hospital, Shirley Ruth JONES of London and formerly of Woodstock in her 71st year, was called home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2005. Survived by her devoted husband Ron and his sons Ian and Kevin JONES of London, her special daughters Carol MacKAY and her special friend Kerry ELLIS of Brantford, Kimberley TIPPING and husband Peter of Embro, granddaughters Cassandra and Sarah TIPPING and Jennifer MacKAY of Brantford. Also survived by beloved brother Ron KIPP and his wife Ruthe, nieces Sylvia and Annalynn, nephew Stuart KIPP and his wife Shelley and special Friends Bruce and Marlene OTIS of Stratford.
Shirley was a member of the London Elmwood Lawn Bowling Club and past member of the Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club. Friends may call at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, London (433-5184) Sunday 1-4 p.m. and again at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (539-0004) Monday 2: 30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. James DAVEY officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. STEINBERG, Simmie
April 5th, 2005 passed peacefully in her 92nd year. Loving wife of the late Philip STEINBERG and mother of the late Allen STEINBERG. Simmie will be greatly missed by her loving daughter Lorraine and son-in-law Ron OTIS, her grandchildren Philip and Judy OTIS and Brian and Jon OTIS, Stacey MERRICK and Philip, Paul, Dan, Steven and Jen STEINBERG, sister Mynne TAGER, and her nine wonderful great-grandchildren. Simmie will always be in our hearts. The family is grateful to the doctors and staff at Kensington Gardens. Funeral to be held at Benjamin's Park Memorial on Friday April 8th at 10: 00 a.m.

Much loved grandmother of Arin and Marni OTIS, Samantha and Matthew GOLDSILVER, Yehevit, Rivka, Dovid, Leiba, Moishe and Elise INDAIG, great-grandmother of Jonah OTIS. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Claire and Ben GITTLEMAN, Irwin and the late Jean COGAN, Doris COGAN and the late Marcus COGAN, Hy and the late Sylvia COGAN, the late Betty and Fred DAVIS, the late Nat and Rose POLLOCK and the late Sam and Rose INDAIG. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 15th at 11: 30 a.m. in the T.I.B.A. section of Mount Sinai Cemetery, Wilson Avenue. Shiva at 78 Edmonton Road, from 4: 00 p.m. daily until Wednesday evening. In lieu of shiva gifts, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (416-488-8772) would be appreciated.
