FOURNIE,
Georgina (née
CORRIVEAU)
Lived a glorious life. From her early days growing up in St.
Joseph's, Ontario, to her 60 years in London, Ontario, she lived
life to its fullest. Born May 11th, 1930, she peacefully passed
after a very rapid bout with cancer on November 10th, 2005. Although
sadly missed, we are grateful for the fact that she raised four
wonderful children. She is predeceased by our dad Morley, her
true love, who passed away on April 14th, 1987 and her parents
Ed and Bertha
CORRIVEAU.
She is survived by sisters Yvonne
JEFFERY
(and husband Pete, who was like a brother) of St. Joseph and
Marie WILD of Exeter. Georgina has four children and lots of
grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rob

Cody and Tyler. Georgina always took great delight in having
her family around her. Mom always laughed to the point of tears
when we'd get together. "I have four crazy kids" she always said
and marvelled at the next generation coming up. Throughout this
tough period, her family was at her side as she was for us throughout
our lives. She was and will continue to be an inspiration and
model for all of us. Thank you Mom, we love you! To her many
Friends who shared her life through the Catholic church, playing
cards, dancing, travelling and of course the Legion (Victory
Branch), we thank you. Although a short stay at University Hospital,
we appreciate the support from the nursing team. Also a special
thanks to the two outstanding professionals: Dr. Matt
FELTHAM
who showed compassion in our family's time of need and to Dr.
Valerie SCHULTZ of the Palliative Care Pain Team who ensured
mom's comfort. We would like to also express our appreciation
for the thoughtfulness of Father Leslie and her childhood friend
Sister Bernadette. Your prayers meant the world to her. Visitation
will be held at the Lloyd R. Needham Funeral Chapel on Sunday
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers to be held at 3 p.m. and a
Legion service to be held at 7 p.m. under the auspices of the
Victory branch. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the
Apostle Roman Catholic Church (1 Fallons Lane) on Monday, November
14th, 2005 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Georgina to Canadian Cancer Society would
be greatly appreciated.
