RYRIE, Mary Gifford (née STAUNTON)
At Mount Sinai Hospital on Saturday, January 1, 2005, in her 95th year following a lengthy illness at home. Born October 12, 1910, daughter of the late Edmund and Mary (MORISON) STAUNTON. Devoted wife of the late Jack RYRIE. Survived by her sister, Mrs. St. Clair BALFOUR (Helen) and her brother, Thomas A. G. STAUNTON (Bonnie.) Predeceased by her sister, Mrs. Adam FAUQUIER (Ann). Mary will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews plus other extended family members in Canada and England. Special thanks to Puring ANDRES, Cindy CABUSO and their caregiving team for providing superlative long-term nursing services and affectionate support. A private service was held Friday, January 7th, at the Carfrae Chapel, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers thank you.

On Thursday, May 19, 2005, at the Cama Woodlands Nursing Home in Burlington. Beloved wife of the late Ross. Dear mother of Barbara DAVIDSON and her husband Paul, John and his wife Margaret and Margaret PACINI and her husband Peter. Loved and missed by her grandchildren Sarah, Amy, Caleigh, David, Colin, Jamie and Kevin and her sister Jeannette LEWIS and her husband Frank. Funeral service 11: 00 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville. Private family interment St. Jude's Cemetery. Reception to follow. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the St. Jude's Church Organ and Music Trust Fund would be appreciated.
