TAILOR/TAYLOR, M. Jean (formerly YOUNG)
Entered into rest at Deer Park Villa in Grimsby, on Wednesday evening, February 9th, 2005, with her loving family by her side. Jean TAILOR/TAYLOR, formerly Jean YOUNG, in her 92nd year. Jean was the daughter of the late Paul KINGSTON and his wife, Jenny. She was raised on a farm in the Dobbington area. She is much loved by her daughter, Sharron BELANGER and Greg MUTTER. Proud grandmother of Ian BELANGER, of Grimsby and Sara BELANGER, of Galway City, Ireland. Dear sister-in-law of Teddy McKEAN, of Collingwood and Marian SLED, of Stouffville. She will be fondly remembered by her caring second family including Gwen (Mrs. Dale TAILOR/TAYLOR,) Betty and her husband, Joe GRAY/GREY, Ron and his wife, Nancy TAILOR/TAYLOR and Greg and his wife, Helen TAILOR/TAYLOR. Jean will be greatly missed by her several nieces and nephews including her special nieces, Mary LAMOURE and Leora LEON. Predeceased by her brothers, Francie, Gordon and Fred KINGSTON; her sister, Viola WALKER and her second husband, Aldred TAILOR/TAYLOR. Jean spent most of her life in Owen Sound and for many years operated a grocery store, along with her late husband, Milton YOUNG. For more than fifty years, she was a member of Knox United Church and was active in the Owen Sound community. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home, on Friday from 2: 00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10: 00 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to either the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre Foundation-M.R.I. Unit or to the charity of your choice.
