David was a great brother to Susan. Devoted husband to Kerry.
Loving father to Chris and Tammy. Outstanding grandfather to
Duncan. He was a dedicated employee of Air Canada until his passing
quietly in hospital on January 18, 2005 after many years of illness.
He will be missed by all who loved him. Visitation only, will
be held Thursday, January 20 at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel,

appointed London's first female Police Officer in 1974. Cathy

and 7: 00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland
Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday,
January 6th, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation and interment of ashes

the recipient of the longest safe-driving award (29 years) when
he retired from Dufferin Construction Inc. in 1985, with more
than 30 years of service as a concrete truck driver. Friends

on Friday, February 11th, 2005, at the age of 77.
Born July 12, 1927 in Ottawa, Ontario. Beloved wife of 55 years
to Robert (Bob)
BEARDSLEY.
Mother of Ruth, Phyllis, John and
Robin. Grandmother of Lindsay, Adam, Hunter, Tommy, Sam, Ross,
Ian, Becca, Stephen, Beth and Nicholas. Barbara worked tirelessly
in the community and the New Democratic Party, she was a wife,
mother, sister, feminist, mentor, librarian, researcher, gardener
and friend of many. She worked at Ontario Institute for Studies
in Education, Metro Toronto School Board, University of the West
Indies and Onteris. Graduated from U of T, 1949, Honours B.A.
English and 1962 Bachelors in Library Sciences.
A Funeral Service will be held at South Bay United Church, on
Monday, February 14th at 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held
at The Garden Chapel of The Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond
Road (Between Bayshore and Baseline Roads), Nepean on Wednesday,
February 16th at 3 p.m. If desired, donations to the New Democratic
Party, Friends of Sandbanks Park or the Ann Farewell Library
