Passed away peacefully at Ballycliffe Lodge in Ajax on Friday, February 25, 2005. Frank in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Doris. He will be truly missed by his daughters Joan and her husband Cliff DOUTHWRIGHT and Linda and her husband Al TUTCHENER. Cherished grandfather of Leslie, Tracey, Diane, Christine, Theresa, Sheila and his 8 great-grandchildren. Frank is survived by his brothers Jack and Roy and his sisters Jessie and Joan. At Kensington Village, London on Monday, December 6th, 2005, Mary "Molly" (IRWIN) FICKLING of London in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur "Art" FICKLING. Dear mother of Dave FICKLING and his wife Patricia and Fred FICKLING and his wife Sheila all of London. Dear sister of Muriel PODMORE of London. Predeceased by her sister Edith TUTHILL. TUTT, Tyronne William (August 25, 1942-July 26, 2005)
The family of Tyronne TUTT are saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Vancouver, British Columbia, after a brief battle with lung cancer. Tyronne was the beloved husband of Helen TUTT; much loved father of Lorie TUTT and her husband Brandon MERCER, and Amanda ARCHIBALD and her husband Mike ARCHIBALD loving grandfather of Vanessa LOCKE, Duncan and Colin MERCER. Tyronne will also be sadly missed by his brother Bill TUTT and his wife Shirley, and their family. Tyronne had a true passion for life and brought joy and smiles wherever he went. In that spirit, a memorial will be held to honour and celebrate Tyronne's life at the J.S. Jones and son Funeral Home in the Trafalgar Room (11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown, Ontario), on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 1: 00 p.m. All family and Friends are welcome. SLOAN, Lt. Col. James Robert (R)
Peacefully, on October 26, 2005, Jim Sloan entered his eternal rest from St. Michael's Hospital at the age of 90. The man who touched many lives through his ministry will be missed by all with whom he came in contact for his gentle touch and wonderful, positive outlook on life. He was predeceased by Grace, his wife of 51 years, who passed away in 1995. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Ron and wife Jeannie, his son Ken and wife Rosemary, and grandchildren Kendra MARTONE and husband Mick, Shawn and wife Stephanie, Michael and David SLOAN, and great grandchildren Moriah, Aleah, Jonathan and Elliana. He also leaves his dear sister, Rita SLOAN. Jim was born near Tottenham Ontario and spent his youth on the family farm. In his late teens, he moved to Toronto and for a brief time worked at the T Eaton Company. However, at the age of 19 he found his calling and entered the Salvation Army Training College for Officers. A year later he began what would turn out to be 45 years of service with the Salvation Army. For the first 8 years he was a single officer, until in 1943 he married the former Grace TUTTE and they continued serving together for 37 years. Jim and Grace held many church appointments as well as spending time in public relations, youth work, and leadership roles throughout Canada. In the latter part of their career, they were appointed to lead the Army's work in Singapore and Malaysia. Jim was Personnel Secretary for the Salvation Army in Canada at the time of his retirement in 1980. He spent many years during his retirement as the Visiting Pastor for the North Toronto Salvation Ar my Corps ministering to the sick and shut in. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, North York (just south of Steeles Avenue) from 7-9 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. on Saturday. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to The Salvation Army or The Alzheimer's Society.

Of Belmont on Monday, December 12, 2005, at the London Health Sciences Centre (Victoria Campus), in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Carrie (BARNED) PAYNE and dearly loved father of Janis and her husband John DEWITTE of Chatham, Arden and his wife Barbara PAYNE of Saint Thomas, Bev PAYNE of Calgary and Michael and his wife Cindy PAYNE of Iona. Dear brother of Audrey HALLON of Hamilton. Predeceased by 4 brothers Don, Ray, Chestle and Arden PAYNE and by 2 sisters Jean SMIT and Joyce PAYNE. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Calvin was born in Strathroy on October 7, 1920, the son the late Jethro and Ivah (TUTTLE) PAYNE. He work for Canada Vitrified and was a member of the Horticultural Society of Belmont and area. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow. DEMARSH, Reverend Dr. Roy Grant
83, died peacefully in Minto, New Brunswick, July 30, 2005.
Born in rural Saskatchewan, he was challenged early by polio, later by Alzheimers. Undaunted, he pursued his education (B.Sc., Mount Allison University; B.D., Pine Hill Divinity College; M.Th., University of Toronto; Honorary Doctor of Divinity, Huron College of the Anglican Church). He served God and others in a life of selfless devotion as a United Church Minister (pastorates in the Nashawaak, Stanley, Minto, New Brunswick; New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), as General Secretary of the Student Christian Movement of Canada, Associate Secretary of the Board of Colleges of the United Church of Canada and President of Maritime Conference. He worked with the Moravian Church in Jamaica, and ran in a Federal By-election, representing the New Democratic Party in 1983.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edna (WARD,) 4 children, Peter (Jean BURGESS), Taymouth, New Brunswick, John, P.E.I., Barbara, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Helen (Maury MILOFF), Bangladesh, 12 grandchildren, his sister Helen BLOCK (Peter,) Toronto, his brother Gordon (Delma), Saskatchewan.
He was predeceased by his parents Grace (TUTTLE) and Peter DEMARSH, his sister Kathleen, his brother Kent.
Funeral Service will be 2: 00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at Trinity United Church, Minto, New Brunswick. Reception to follow in Church Hall. Burial and Memorial Service to be held later in Sackville, New Brunswick.
