It is with great sadness that her family announces that Ana died
in her sleep at home on January 9, 2005. Ana was the beloved
wife of Don, her husband of 45 years, loving "Mama" to her daughters
Alida and Yvonne, doting "Nona" to her grand_sons Ellery, Jack,
Tino and Adrian, and loved mother-in-law to David and John. She
is also survived by her sister Branka and her nieces and nephews
in Yugoslavia. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Aleksa and
Vasilja TVRDISIC, her brother Aco and sisters Viktorija and Dobrila.
She will be deeply missed by her family and her many Friends
who were touched by her powerful and passionate life. Private
cremation. A party to celebrate Ana's life will take place at
a later date. For those who wish, donations in Ana's name can
be made to the National Ballet of Canada, to which she gave many
years of volunteer service, and to the Red Cross for help in
Africa.
