REID, Leslie Theodore, M.D.
Beloved husband of Lorna Mary REID. Passed away peacefully on March 22, 2005 at the Sault Area Hospital, Plummer Site, Sault Ste. Marie. son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William REID of Oshawa. Loving father of John, Janet, David (Terri), Aaron (Yvonne) and Mary; and loving stepfather of Mark JORDAN (Kristen.) Loving grandfather and Poppa to 13 grandchildren. Loved brother of Evelyn (Mel) COLLINS and uncle to Heather, Sheila, Brian and Dawn. Best brother-in-law of Irene TYSALL and uncle to Innis. Les was a 1954 graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School and began a lengthy career as a General Practitioner in Clifford and Lakefield, Ontario. From 1977 to his retirement in 1995 Les was the much respected and caring General Practitioner in Bruce Mines, Ontario. A funeral service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. Mr. Cary MUNCASTER officiating. HENRY, Courtaline (February 23, 1931-February 1, 2005)
Courtaline HENRY, 73, a longtime Palm Beach resident, passed away peacefully after a long illness on February 1, 2005. Mrs. HENRY, known as Courtie, was born in Timmons, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from St. Michael's School of Nursing of Toronto in 1952 and was an active R.N. until 1976, then continued volunteer nursing part-time. In 1976 she joined her husband, Paul HENRY, in his business Greenleaf and Crosby until 1994 and was very active in local charities. She is survived by her husband Paul, daughter Vanessa, son Christopher, his wife Irma and their children Cameron, Connor, and Cole of Dallas, Texas, brothers Carlyle and Courtland, nieces: Cory, Andrea, Michelle, nephews: Douglas, Michael, Richard and Robert and her long time loving caregiver Lula TYSKIEWCZ. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4th at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 1201 S. Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida between the hours of 6: 00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10: 30 a.m. on Saturday, February 5th at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 144 N. County Road, Palm Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please make a donation to either the Alzheimer Association, Hospice of Palm Beach County, Boys and Girls Clubs, Adopt-A-Family, or a charity of your choice.

WALKS, David Sanceau
(formerly of Burlington) - passed peacefully into the Lords hands from home in Virgil, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. Born June 30, 1933 in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, he leaves his loving wife and Querida of 21 years, Karen DANDIE- WALKS (née JACKSON.) He will always be remembered by his children, Lynn (Larry TYSOE,) Lisa (Ron BELLIS,) John (Amanda DYSON,) all of Toronto, Bob (Jo) of Mississauga and Michelle also of Toronto. David is also remembered by his stepchildren, Morgan HANNAH (Gary) of Milton, Jonathan DANDIE of Banff, Alberta and Theron DANDIE (Stacey CHANDLER) of Burlington. David is the very proud Papa of Kyle and Kevin BROWN, Jessica WALKS, Jeremy KURIS, and step Papa of Hunter and Cole DANDIE, Mackenzie CHANDLER and Mathew and Brittany HANNAH. Papa's passing will have a deep effect on his faithful companion, Dakota. David is survived by his sister Ann HOBDEN (Peter) of Burlington, and is missed by several nieces and nephews. David is predeceased by his brother, Robert (Sandy) of Brampton and his parents John and Adelaide. At David's request a private cremation has taken place. The WALKS family would greatly appreciate Donations of Remembrance in David's name to be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life in memory of David will be held at 12: 30 p.m., Sunday, August 28th, 2005 at The Glendale Golf and Country Club, 401 Mount Albion Road, Hamilton. GAMBLE, Bertram John
Age 76, of Jonesboro, Georgia died Monday February 7, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian N. GAMBLE. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Bill GORYCA, Laurie and Mark HATALLA, Lisa and Ed RICE; sons, Brian GAMBLE, Bruce GAMBLE and his fiance Becky TYSON. 7 grandchildren; Gaitlyn and James GORYCA, Whitney and Erin PERRY, Jared RICE, David and Daniel HATALLA, and Shelby GAMBLE; brother, James GAMBLE, sisters Isabell DRESSLER, Lois BALLARD, Ouida HAMMOND, Frances QUIRIE. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. GAMBLE served in the Canadian Navy from 1944-1946, in the Canadian Army from 1951-1954, and during the Korean Conflict with the Canadian Army. Mr. GAMBLE was a member of the Korean Veterans Association. Donations can be made to The American Cancer Society. The family will receive Friends for visitation on Friday, February 11 from 4-8pm at Pope Dickson and son Funeral Home-Jonesboro Chapel. Passed away peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre - Westminster on Friday, October 7, 2005 in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Carol MARTIN for 41 years. Loving father of Angel (Chris) TYSON, Jim (Dana) MARTIN. Cherished grandfather of Victoria TYSON of London, Allyssa and Dylan MARTIN of Yellowknife. Dear brother of Marilyn (Richard) TRAVAGLINI of Sault Saint Marie, John (Gini) ARMSTRONG of Brampton. Predeceased by parents Georgina ARMSTRONG and James MARTIN. Passed away at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2005, in his 93rd year. Robert of Orillia, beloved husband of the late Betty (née CAINE) and the late Freda (nee HARDING.) Loving father of Barbara GOLDING and husband Douglas of Port Sydney, the late Ruth ELGIE and surviving husband Wallace of Orillia, the late David TYSON. Dear grandfather of Laura and John GREEN of Orillia, Lynne and Tony CLEMENT of Brampton, Stephen and Lori ELGIE of Canmore, Alberta, John and Dawn GOLDING of Mississauga, Lee-Anne and John HIPWELL of Barrie and great-grandfather of eight. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. Mr. TYSON was born in Cleveland, Ohio and immigrated to Canada in 1932. He was employed by Tremco Ltd. retiring in 1977 after 46 years. He was an Honorary Member of the Toronto Board of Trade and the Toronto Board of Trade Club. The family will receive Friends at the Doolittle-Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. Service in the chapel on Thursday afternoon, February 24th at 1 o'clock followed by cremation. William of Saint Thomas, on Friday, February 18, 2005, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 63rd year. Best friend and devoted father of Steve and his wife Julie, Tim and Don and his wife Michelle ANDREYCHUK, all of Saint Thomas. Dear brother of Mike and his wife Carolyn of Sault Ste. Marie and Frances HOBBS of Port Colborne. Predeceased by a brother Curly ANDREYCHUK and by a sister Helen TYSSEN. Adored and loved grandpa of Stephanie, Emily, Melanie, Karly, Brody and Meagan. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Bill was born in Leamington on November 14, 1942, the son of the late Elias ANDREYCHUK and Dora KOSTINUIK) ANDREYCHUK- WELCH. He has lived the past 28 years in the Talbotville and Saint Thomas area and formerly of Mt. Brydges. Bill worked for the Ford Motor Company of Canada where he was a metal finisher. The family will receive Friends at the Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and Monday 1-2 p.m. A service to celebrate Bill's life will follow at 2: 00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
