loved and cherished Mother and Grandmother in her 86th year on
Sunday, February 6th, 2005 after a courageous battle with Stroke
and Alzheimer. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ken of 59 years
and her much loved son Ted in 1978. Survived by her adored daughter
Beverley and husband Harry
UHRIG, granddaughters Leslie and Kelly,
grand_sons Jason and Cameron, sister Evelyn
ZALA of Victoria,
British Columbia. A long time member of the Oakville Art Society
and Burlington Cultural Centre, Mom was a tremendously talented
artist whose works were shown all over Canada, U.S. and Europe
in her long career. Everyone who knew her was touched by her
good nature and gentle kindness. I know she will be greatly missed
by her fellow artists, many Friends, neighbours and relatives,
but her art will live on. Friends may gather at The Oakview Funeral
Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr Street),
on Thursday, February 10, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer
Society would be greatly appreciated.
