UJJAINWALLA. Born
in Ratlam, India, Shabbir earned a degree from the Engineering
College of Poona and obtained his M.A.Sc. from the University
of Toronto (1950). In 1959, Shabbir left H.G. Acres in Niagara
Falls to join the federal government. During his career at Environment
Canada and Canadian International Development Agency, Shabbir
made many Friends in his trips abroad. Shabbir was a long-time
member of the Ottawa Cathedral Cricket Club and in retirement
was an enthusiastic golfer at Carleton Golf and Yacht Club. Special
thanks to Dr. Roanne
SEGAL for years of treatment and encouragement,
the nurses who became Friends of 'M. Tremblay', and the Palliative
Care staff of Elizabeth Bruyère, including the volunteers who
comforted him and shared in his stories. Interment April 25th
at Pinecrest Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Regional
Cancer Centre Foundation greatly appreciated.
