Loved father of Heather and her husband John TODD of Byron, Rick PAYNE and his partner Sonia BANDELOO of Ilderton and the late David PAYNE, Kevin HOLBORN and his partner Wendy NEVILLE of Saint Thomas, Cory MORNINGSTAR and her partner Paul VEEL, London and Connie HOLBORN of Saint Thomas. Loved grandfather of Stephen, Janelle, Spencer, Sean, Melissa, Ali, Tristin, Jazz, Brandon, Jade, Safire and Connor. Predeceased by 3 brothers Ernie, James and Ronald. Dear brother-in-law of Marlene PAYNE of West Lorne. Sadly missed by several other brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and cousins.
David was born in Rawleigh Township on May 8, 1935, the son of the late George and Mary (SUMMERFIELD) PAYNE. He has lived most of his life in the West Lorne and Saint Thomas area and was retired from Canadian Timken. David enjoyed horses, A.T.V. riding and was a member of the Otter Ridge Riders Club. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Friday at 1: 00 p.m. Cremation to follow in London. Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Beloved father of Ron McLAGAN and his wife Lynn of London, Ruth McLAGAN and her husband James BRIDGLAND of Ingonish Beach, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and Ken McLAGAN and his wife Ruthanne of London. Caring grandfather of Sarah McLAGAN, Michael and Kathryn BRIDGLAND and Karyn and Kaitlyn McLAGAN. Dear brother of Annetta SAVAGE of London, Keith McLAGAN and his wife Ilene of Mitchell and Donald McLAGAN and his wife Roslyn of Ingersoll. Evan was a retired secondary school teacher with the London School Board and a former minister with the United Church of Canada. He has also been a very active member of Calvary United Church. She was a resident of London for 84 years. Most beloved wife of the late F. Kenneth WANLESS (1968) and the late Garnet R. MOORE (1995.) Dearly loved and cherished mother of Patricia J. WANLESS of Sarnia and John F. (Jack) WANLESS and his wife Susan of High River, Alberta. Proud and loving grandmother of Jennifer L BREAU (WANLESS) and her husband Paul of Vancouver, British Columbia. Margo MacKENZIE died Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Summit Place Lodge in Owen Sound in her ninety-sixth year. Margo retired to Owen Sound after many years teaching in the Toronto area and on Toronto Island. She was predeceased by a sister Helen and a son John. Margo will be sadly missed by her sister Beth BURNS, niece Alison GALWAY, nephews John and Steven BURNS, daughter-in-law Joan HUTTON, granddaughter Melissa HUTTON, grand_son Christopher HUTTON and great grandchildren Adia and Thomas as well as a lengthy list of Friends and family. Her jokes and sense of humour will not be forgotten. The family wishes to thank Dr. VEENSTRA and the staff for the loving care and comfort that she received as a resident at Summit Place. In keeping with Margo's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public funeral service. Mrs. Lyntje HUYGEN, age 82, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Monday, April 18, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Christiaan HUYGEN April 16, 1998, by a son Otto HUYGEN May 16, 1998 and by a great grand_son Kaleb HUYGEN May 19, 2001. She is the loving mother of Maree and Bill GRAHAM, John HUYGEN and Betty, daugther-inlaw Agnes and John CLAUS, Anne and Clarence VEENSTRA and Joe HUYGEN. She will be sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was a member of The Christian Reformed Church of Stratford. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital Palliative Care on Tuesday January 18th, 2005. She is predeceased by her parents Albert Edward KNOX, K.C. and Elizabeth Olga KNOX; and her brother Albert Edward (Lal) KNOX. Sheila was born in Toronto and was a graduate of St. Michael's Hospital School of Nursing. She was much loved and will be dearly missed by her sister Gloria Knox O'DONOHUE of Toronto, her brother Paul (Ruth) of Southampton, her nephew Michael (Julie) of Milwaukee and her niece Tara (Ron) of Paisley. Sheila loved and will be missed by her many treasured Friends, her nieces and nephews Mary Jo and Andy ZSOLT, Stephen and Randy O'DONOHUE, Dr. Gregory O'DONOHUE, Melanie and Sean SMITH; her grand-nieces and nephews Thomas and Nicholas VEENSTRA and Abigail KNOX. WEINERT, Jane Dryden (née McGANITY)
Jane Dryden McGANITY, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2005. Born June 25, 1928, in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada to Arthur James and Ethyl (DRYDEN) McGANITY. She graduated from Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate and Vocational School in 1946 and Kitchener- Waterloo College with a B.S. in math and science in 1950. She married Donald L. WEINERT on January,3, 1953. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1954 and Don worked in the pipeline business until his retirement in 1988. Jane was a talented athlete winning many track awards when she was young. She was a swimmer and tennis player later switching to golf at the Oaks Country Club. She took great care of her home, family, Friends and the extended Mapco family. Don and Jane were a large part of the beginning of the Green Country Soccer Association. She was an active member first at St. Lukes Episcopal Church and later Saint Johns Episcopal Church. In 2003, Don and Jane and Millard and Norma WOOLSEY were the first two families to move to Montereau at Warren Woods. She is survived by her husband, Donald, daughters and son-in-laws Anne and John VEENSTRA, Stillwater; Linda and Bob LYON, Los Altos, California; Patricia and John PHILLIPS, Tulsa; and son and daughter-in-law John and Liz WEINERT, Austin, Texas; and her three precious grandchildren Jordan, Will and Georgia; her step-mother, Kathryn McGANITY, San Antonio, Texas; her sister-in-law, Mary McGANITY, Galveston, Texas; and her brother-in-law, Alan PARKIN, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, William McGANITY, and sister, Elizabeth PARKIN. There will be a visitation with family at the Montereau Theater, 6800 S. Granite, on Friday, July 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. and the memorial service will be at Saint John's Episcopal Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 30.
